My wife and I were on a 2 week business/pleasure trip. The first week was a motorcycle trip going east from here. The the second was for business. This was day 4 of our trip. We are so happy we stayed here. The location on the water with a deck sets this place apart from most places. The rooms were large and comfortable and very clean. The beds were as comfortable as any place we stayed. The small town is charming and was one of our favorite places explore.

The hotel is not very handicap accessible. Parking is down below and there are steps to climb with a suitcase. Once in the hotel there is an elevator if you are staying in the lodge. Room is large but only has king beds. They put an air mattress on the floor for my daughter but it was an old type low to the ground.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Veiw was to die for and the people were super friendly………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. The surrounding area is awesome to visit also.

Beautiful location, welcoming staff, large room with nostalgic feel but updated bathroom and services. Restaurant associated with the hotel is excellent both sit down and room service. Breakfast is managed very well and includes hot and cold food.

This was our first time staying and dining at Smithfield Station. The excellent service from the hotel and restaurant staff helped us have a great time. We stayed in the main building and our room was large, well-appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch and it was well attended by staff with fresh food consistently being refilled. We had an enjoyable time and we will be back.

Beautiful location and the room was comfortable with all the required facilities. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and the welcome buffet dinner was very tasty. We were in a wedding party and so our experience may have been different from individuals visiting but I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely a beautiful place! Rooms are quaint and beds are comfortable! Very clean! The restaurant was delicious. Being on the water was a plus! Fun watching the boats sail in and out! Loved that we could walk to downtown! We will be back again!

We recently stayed overnight for a local wedding. The hotel is located on the water which is a plus. We stayed in one of the rooms located above the restaurant. It was quite small but had been renovated recently. The decor was up to date and cute. However, the air conditioning systems have not been updated and our room was so muggy and had a horrible musty smell. We were only in the room to get ready and sleep but if we had been staying longer, I definitely wouldn’t have been able to stay in that room as I’m sensitive to odors. It’s an older part of the hotel and it looks as if they are trying to update it. However, I think something needs to be done with the older AC units. For the price of the room, I expected more.

I had been to Smithfield Station a handful of times in the past but had only visiting the restaurant. We recently had a large family gathering and most of us stayed there and made it our home base. The staff and accommodations were absolutely wonderful! With so many people coming in from all over the country, we could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was stellar and friendly through and through!
