Morfo hotel

Proprietari persone eccezionali e disponibili. Tutto a livello familiare, l’impegno è massimo ma non basta, il turismo è anche altro. La struttura avrebbe bisogno di maggior manutenzione: abbiamo pernottato per 10 notti, ma l’hotel, se così si può definire, non è da farcene più di un paio. I materassi, vecchi e obsoleti, presentano avvallamenti vari, con molle che escono in vari punti. non si può pensare di far dormire ospiti in queste condizioni . Il water alla base aveva una perdita, per cui nel bagno abbiamo camminato nell’acqua, se così possiamo chiamarla,che fuoriusciva dal WC. La colazione  prevede: un uovo sodo, 2 fette di pane, the o caffè ed uno yogurt e viene servita in un terrazzino, attrezzato con 5 tavolini e sedie  che durante il giorno e la notte è il punto preferito di un paio di gatti. Sedersi su quei cuscini non è il massimo dell’igiene pur amando gli animali. Il Wi-fi, almeno nella nostra stanza non funzionava, il segnale era troppo debole. Le stanze prevedono tutte un terrazzino, ma sono impraticabili per le zanzare, andrebbe fatta una disinfestazione. Per quanto riguarda i saponi, era presente un dispenser con il quale si sarebbe dovuto fare tutto… shampo, doccia ed igiene intima. Per quanto riguarda l’interno della stanza l’arredamento è vecchio e la pulizia lascia a desiderare. Sicuramente tutte cose che i proprietari conoscono e faranno in modo di sistemare con piccoli interventi…

It’s super friendly

A lovely small traditional Greek 1 star hotel. This hotel was affordable for a solo traveller as many were out of my price range. It is right in the centre of Skiathos town and although it is very close to restaurants bars and shops it is quiet and not noisy. It is run by a lovely Greek family who are friendly and happy to help you. The accommodation is basic and no frills but it met my needs as a base for my holiday as a solo traveller. My room was ready on arrival and I was helped carry my luggage upstairs pstairs by Dimitiria, the owner. My room had twin beds. The air con and safety deposit box were included in the price of the hotel and were not charged extra. Breakfast was lovely although I only had one breakfast as I don't eat much in a morning. I struggled slightly with the shower as it was quite old fashioned but it did the job. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend for a solo traveller wanting to be in Skiathos town as a base. Thank you so much Dimitria and her mum and daughter.
