The Homestar

Thank you homestar for a lovely overnight stay for our first family holiday the family room was comfortable and clean with great presentation, the owner was polite and helpful we would definitely stay again.

Booked to stay for 2 nights this weekend, but had a phone call on Saturday morning from my girlfriend's neighbour to say there was a ( thankfully minor) problem at her house. As a result we had to head back a day early. Our room (301) was on the 2nd floor and was bigger than the one we had stayed in on previous visits. The bed could have been more comfortable but the room overall was fine. There was a decent selection on offer for breakfast including cooked, and very nice it was too. They do offer off road parking, but the access is via a narrow driveway so we parked on the road outside. You are only about 10 minutes level walk from the town centre and seafront so the accommodation is well situated , tucked away on a quiet road.

Very welcoming host, helped us out with parking when my van was too big to fit in the rear car park, the room was lovely and clean and well set out, with a microwave and fridge, the shower was very powerful, the breakfast had lots of choices and was cooked well. Would stop here again for sure

Great little hotel, in a grat location, a couple minutes walk from Skegness sea front. Was greeted well on arrival and shown to our room. The key fob for the front door wasn't explained on check in so had to ask the owner once we left for the first evening. The family room is a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a double and single in the en suite room and a single in the second room there is also a second toilet. Both bedrooms had flat screen tvs with free view. We weren't offered breakfast on arrival but we wasn't really bothered about that. Rooms were very clean and tidy but I would say a makeover would make this hotel even better. The only downside was the WiFi never seemed to work were we were on the top floor, so they could do with investing in a couple WiFi boosters. Overall enjoyed our stay at the home star and would definitely return.

Nice room shame about cleanliness toilet had stains on door and a poop in toilet on arrival and a brown stain on toilet seat wasn't offered breakfast so went to maccies your loss wouldn't bother again
