The Vine Hotel

Second time at the Vine Hotel ,easy check-in room was nice and clean, few marks on the walls,Breakfast was a bit slow not very organised limited staff, no glasses out for cold drinks also limited on the self service area non descript cereal, no continental selections, full english breakfast was nice,

Had a long weekend in Skegness and visited the Vine each day for drinks and dinner Sunday afternoon in the Oak room , fantastic service and excellent quality food the locals are extremely welcoming and friendly and made us feel very welcome our black Labrador Wilson really appreciated all the fuss . Thanks for sharing your hospitality and we will definitely be back soon

I stayed this weekend for a wedding. Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great evening meal, breakfast and drinks. My main reason for the 5 stars is the exceptional staff who were so friendly, nothing was too much for them. Great service thank you

Stopped off here on a Sunday afternoon. Three weeks later I received a parking fine for £60 pounds from the cowboys who operate the Hotel carpark. Although I had paid they still tried to con me out of the money. Needless to say I told them I would not be paying and they crawled back into their swamp.Trustpilot has dozens of negative reviews about the company who try to use this carpark as a cash cow.

We arranged a Christmas day meal for 8 people for a 3pm serving and when we arrived, we were firstly informed that we would not be eating in the restaurant but took us into the function room The serving staff and the meal was very nice, however, this came to an abrupt end when a large group of people turned up with children (which is usually fine for well-behaved children) Unfortunately, the enjoyment of our day was ruined as the children were allowed to run around the room to the extent that one of them, even went behind the bar playing with the beer pumps and constantly running around our table Then, to add insult to injury, one couple on this table decided to go into a full blown argument and a chair was thrown across the floor At no time, whatsoever, was any of the staff prepared to intervene and they were left to run amok. Which then as you can appreciate, completely ruined the day to the extent that we left minutes after this incident We feel very let down as we have never experienced this type of behaviour in any restaurant that we have been to in different parts of the country We travelled 113 miles to spend the day with family and my 82 year old mother, was extremely distressed by all of this in case the aggression escalated We have had no response from the restaurant to address the issues.

We booked here as a family of 3, when we visited the nearby aquarium. We were welcomed warmly. We had booked a family room, which was huge! 2 x doubles, clean, warm, comfy and with a great shower. We ate here in the evening and the food was plenty and tasty. There was a big christmas party in the back room, but we still had our food within a good timescale. Breakfast was perfect. All in all, we had a lovely stay here, welcomed by all staff.
