Hotel Scaleta Beach

A fuir, parmi tous les hôtels faits en crête c’est de loin le pire… chambre vue mer : non vue sur les toits des autres bâtiments, vue mer mais beaucoup d l’obstacles avant de l apercevoir. La chambre est désuète, lit pas confortable et pour la salle de bain vieillotte c’est clair qu on ne s y attarde pas cela dit l eau étant froide quand il y en a ne permet pas de prendre son temps , pas d étagère pour ranger ses vêtements seulement 5 cintres pour 2…. All inclusive : toujours la même chose, aucune boisson proposées n etait bonne même l eau à un goût infâme, nourriture de qualité médiocre. Ménage non fait tous les jours et pire le dernier soir lit non fait drap plié sur le lit débrouillez Vous. De bien meilleurs vous attendent en crête

We stayed for a week in July 2025. On arrival we were a bit apprehensive because of some of the reviews we had read. The place was beautiful. with nice food and friendly staff. The views were better than anywhere and the pool was amazing. Not too far from the beach and easy for the bus into Rethmynon. The All inclusive we thought was good. There is no Gin or Vodka included though. Just local spirits. There's beer and wine and plenty of soft drinks. The rooms were very clean and similar to other Greek style so we didn't have any complaints. There's also a nice little shop in the hotel and a couple of Tavernas near the beach. We thought it was lovely and had a really nice stay :-)

Au vu des commentaires j'avoue avoir eu un peu peur mais finalement vraiment surprise car le séjour c'est très bien passé ! Nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur la mer qui n'était pas prévu, la chambres était propre, la climatisation fonctionnait, nous avions de l'eau chaude (sauf après 00h elle était tiede). Le ménage était fait tous les jours et correctement, les serviettes changeais tous les jour également. La nourriture du buffet proposé était bonne mais j'avoue très répétitive. Et les verres étaient vraiment trop petit. Obligé de se lever plusieurs fois par repas pour se servir. Le personnel était très gentil et arrangeant surtout la dame rousse qui est souvent là, la journée et qui parle un peu français. Au top du top ! C'est vrai que si pas de voiture, l'hôtel se trouve au milieu de nulle part mais il suffit de bien se renseigner avant de réserver c'est ce que nous avons fait et avec une location c'était super ! L'hôtel en face est très bruyant jusqu'à environ 22h30/23h (musique a fond) et le matin tous dépends des jours mais les resident de cet hôtel sont également bruyant. Le seul point négatif de lhotel scaleta beach est les lits ... ont sents vraiment les ressorts. Cela n'empêche pas de dormir mais c'est vrai quil m'est arriver d'avoir des douleurs là nuits. Sinon tout le reste était top, la vue depuis la piscine sur la mer était vraiment attrayante. En général l'hôtel est calme et agréable. Très bon rapport qualité/prix jetais triste de partir car jai vraiment passer un bon séjour !

We knew this was going to be a cheap and cheerful one but there were so many disappointments: the beds are awful, and asking for extra pillows and sheets wasn’t acknowledged. The hotel itself is up high in the middle of nowhere with no entertainment or excursions, so you need to be up for renting a car and tackling the crazy roads. There is a beach, but no loungers, services etc that aren’t reserved for other hotel guests. The food was really bland and repetitive, the drinks are served in the smallest glasses and there’s such limited options drinks wise in the all inclusive. We ate out a lot more than we’d planned to and brought far more snacks and ice creams form the hotel shop than we ever have before. The only redeeming features were the pool and great weather, but they can only take credit for the first. And, they limit the pool hours to 10:00-18:00, why?! Fab if you intend to just laze by the pool All day every day, but otherwise avoid like the plague.

TLDR: ring went missing/was stolen, air con caused me to get severely ill, beds are genuinely awful - but food was decent, and the local beach was fab (at a cost with sun bed) // Hotel: hotel is basic and clean. No issues with actual hotel facilities as it has a shop on site which is useful Room: the room caused awful issues. Air con blows dust around so if you have allergies, please bear that in mind. Bed is not pleasant at all, as much as I loved being on holiday, I was also massively excited to go back to my own bed. Hard and springy The rooms were cleaned every day, but my ring was removed (or swept away) from the bundle where I kept it with my other rings. When I asked reception, they said if it is in the bin then I should just forget about it. Hugely disappointed as it was sentimental, but then it was my own fault for not leaving it at home! Food: food was decent tbh, defo doable for a week stay - some repeating food items but all in all it was pretty decent - don’t have any issues here. Hotel is a four minute walk away from a beach - 5€ to pay per sun bed used between 10:00-18:00, and there is a 30 min bus ride to Rethymno which is useful as well for a day out. I would not stay here again, nor recommend it. If it wasn’t for the local beach and food then this place would’ve received 0 stars from me. Please look else where

Superbe hotel en gauteur avec une vue incroyable,le couché de soleil splendide.Le personnel adiorable et serviable.Un grand merci à une des hôtesse à la reception qui parle très bien Français et d'une gentillesse.Les repas assez variés.La chambre super.Les femmes de ménage adorables..Brer,super séjour avec des employés incroyables.Le seul bémol,un peu loin de tout pour les excursions.
