"We stayed at La Paula for our honeymoon, and it was a perfect experience from the very first moment to the last. Right at check-in, we were welcomed by Manuela from the front desk warm, smiling, and incredibly friendly. Throughout our entire stay, the team pampered us and took care of everything we needed. Even the manager personally made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. The hotel itself is perfect: clean, warm, and beautiful. Our room was spotless and felt brand new. And the view simply breathtaking. The entire staff was lovely. We asked for help with one small thing, and the team member we approached remembered it and took care of it within a short time. We are truly grateful and appreciative of the whole team. This was our honeymoon, and thanks to them, it was especially sweet. Highly recommend!"

"SHAMEFUL. I booked with Booking a while ago for my wife and two friends (husband and wife). I asked to change the date about three weeks before arrival because my friend who was supposed to come is dying (a heart attack, 78 years old, has been in intensive care for almost three weeks). I was even ready to pay the full amount for the stay now. They blamed Booking, saying they couldn't change the date. Booking, however, tells me that they have no problem with changing the date. Booking contacted the hotel, but they said they don't agree and will apply the penalty. I also tried to contact them, but they said they don't agree and that even if my friend is dying, they must apply the penalty, according to the agreement made with Booking!!! This hotel is worth avoiding, but life is like a boomerang, who expects it?!"

"Generally neat and tidy hotel, pretty new decoration. Great location, within an hour drive to SuiSei, we went there for both sunrise and sunset. We bought some food at the supermarket just opposite to the hotel to bring our meal in the pantry of the room. The counter is not operated overnight though. You’ve to ask for the things you need in advance."

"From the email saying they had hiking poles for us that we could use, to the warm, welcoming greeting we received, to the delicious snacks at 'happy hour', to the delicious breakfast and incredible views, and most importantly, the friendly, kind attentive service, this hotel is TOPS! Also, the pool is so refreshing, the spa, sauna and jacuzzi relaxing after a day of hiking in the beautiful Dolomites. Ursula and the rest of the Thomaseth family make the stay at the PHF wonderful."
