Loved this hotel and the private beach that included lawn chairs and led to a dock. Pool was very nice and hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more! And the hotel provides free bikes!!

This review is for the onsite restaurant as I could not find a separate listing - Ristorante Canneto. We did not stay at the hotel. As an aside, there is no sign at the road advertising this restaurant, we only went there based on our friend's recommendation. On the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area, we ate dinner here one evening. The restaurant is situated at the back of the Hotel La Paul and one can either eat outside on the terrace or inside. Regardless where you chose to sit, the view were wonderful. Parking is also available for free – a plus when visiting this area. Just announce that you will be eating at the restaurant and the gate well be opened. Seafood, vegetarian and gluten free options are available. I chose gnocchi in saffron sauce while my husband had the seafood spaghetti, all washed down with several glasses of excellent white wine. I am not a big eater, but I had no difficulty finishing my meal as it was delicious. My husband, not a huge fan of pasta, pronounced that his meal was supper nice. Service was attentive and the staff very approachable, and the overall cost affordable.

La posizione è ottima, appena fuori dal casino del centro storico di Sirmione. La colazione è abbondante, e molto varia. Personale disponibile e veloce. Il prezzo è nella media. Il parcheggio interno è economico. l'area esterna sul lago è molto bella e ampia. Peccato per la pulizia della nostra stanza. all'arrivo c'è odore di vecchio. gli arredi molto datati non aiutano! dopo le pulizie rimane odore di candeggina in tutta la stanza, poco piacevole. il bagno è piccolo.

Lovely hotel with attentive staff that always welcome you. Room was tidy and had all the necessities required and more (shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, coffee, tea etc)! Pool was lovely and even got to dip on the lake outside the back of the hotel which was great. Breakfast was good and offered a range of food. I loved the variety of cheese and hot chocolate! Would come again.

Leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Zimmer entsprechen nicht dem, wie sie auf der Webseite abgebildet sind. Mit der Hygiene wird es auch nicht so ernst genommen. Der Toilettensitz hatte schon spuren von hundert anderen. Duschen sind zu klein und man darf nicht größer sein als 150cm, da der Duschkopf zu niedrig angebracht ist. Ich habe dann die Dame an der Rezeption zur Rede gestellt. Die Antwort war " jeder Präsentiert doch heute seine Bilder im Internet besser als es in Wirklichkeit ist ". Ich wollte dann ein anderes Zimmer haben, das war auch möglich nur mit überteuertem Aufpreis. Als ich etwas verhandeln wollte, wurde die Chefin gefragt. Ich verstehe zwar kein Italienisch aber dem Ton zu folgen, war es Ihr völlig egal und hat sich nur aufgeregt.

I have to say this hotel was amazing in every way possible. The rooms were lovely and cleaned everyday very nicely. Balcony was perfect with the room and hot weather. The staff were very friendly and polite .. food was delicious too! I will definitely be coming back and can definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sirmione 😇

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left all staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception is always manned and helpful with any questions. Our, ground floor room was perfect for us with a door leading directly to the pool. The pool was never over crowded and often only a few people in. We did several pool days and our girls loved it. The room had air conditioning which we were very glad of and a fridge where we could cool drinks etc. The rooms are cleaned everyday unless you use a do not disturb sign. The shower did have a saloon door so you had to be careful not to get water everywhere but that was a minor thing for us. The breakfast buffet was good. My daughter is Gluten Free and allergic to nuts. Staff tried very hard to accommodate for her, giving her a seperate plate of food each morning. We chose to buy gluten free bread and cereal for her to have a bit more variety. But staff were very friendly. There is a place to get a freshly cooked omelette and fried eggs. We sat outside every morning with such a beautiful view. We had a lovely time at this hotel it was a nice size with nothing feeling busy. We also enjoyed the walk to the old town each day as not far.

This hotel was a major let down for the price we paid. Almost 1200 euro for 2 adults and 2 kids to stay 4 nights. All the family rooms are on the ground floor. The rooms are in serious need of redecoration. The beds were very uncomfortable, almost like camping beds rather than proper beds. The shower in the bathroom had saloon type doors that didn't close.properly so water would go everywhere. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very basic not much selection. Pool area is depressing, old plastic loungers. If I came back to lake garda I would stay ina quieter town away from sirimone. It's too busy, too many tourists and the old town is a rip off, food isn't good. Traffic brutal in and out of town each day. Wouldn't stay here again.
