Hotel Borgo Pantano

I stayed at this hotel in June 2025, after having already visited this place last year in August 2024. The property is beautiful, and is spread out over a large area of land which is full of greenery. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, and each is equipped with good AC which is needed during the hot summer months, The breakfast is also great and includes a very large selection of savoury snacks, sweets and a large fruit selection. We stayed by the pool on each day of our stay. The pool is very well maintained. We also dined at the poolside restaurant, which offers great food. The owner, Giusi, is very welcoming, and is there to greet guests every morning at breakfast, which makes you feel very welcome. I would also like to mention Davide, who worked at the poolside bar - Davide was very helpful and accommodating with all our drinks orders, and made our stay at this hotel even better. I would definitely visit this hotel again in the near future!

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel 2 nuits et avons eu un petit problème avec la chambre, immédiatement ont nous à offert une chambre supérieure sans supplément. Un grand merci a la propriétaire qui est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes le lieux est magique et pourtant nous voyageons régulièrement dans ce type d’Hôtel. un autre bravo pour les petits déjeuners

What a fabulous place. We had such a wonderful time. The Hotel is beautiful and the food is amazing, fine dining. We only booked bed and breakfast, planning to try different restaurants. However, we were drawn back to the hotel each evening fur the delicious dinner. Jose and her team are all so warm, friendly and helpful. The gardens and pool area is so spacious we felt we had the resort to ourselves. There are a selection of sun loungers and seating , I think we used them all. One day we walked to the nearby nature reserve, where we observed beautiful butterflies, dragon flies and birds. We used the shuttle bus on three days, for us to explore Syracuse, Ortigia and Noto, catching a bus and returning by train from Syracuse. The reception staff are do helpful . A big thank you to Eleanor, Paula, Claudia , the three Francesco's, Alberto and Raymond for making our stay so memorable. The only suggestions we have would be for more hooks in the bedroom/bathroom to hang our towels and bathrooms. Also we would have liked an earlier shuttle bus to get to Syracuse before it hit too hot. However we were very grateful for this facility. We cannot wait to return . Thank you all souch

We stayed at Hotel Borgo Pantano for three wonderful nights with a small tour group. It was by far our favorite stop in our 2 week tour of Sicily. Not only are the grounds of the hotel a lovely, relaxing oasis, the wonderfully trained staff were a delight to interact with. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the breakfast is the most elaborate one I've ever experienced in Europe and all of our meals were delicious and memorable. However, my highest praise goes to the owner, Guisi who personally oversees the staff and interacts with all of the guests making everyone feel like family. She even rushed to a bakery to fill a special request when my son called to ask that they surprise me on Mothers Day with a delicious Sicilian Cassata Cake. That's superior customer service! Thank you Guisi!

Great hotel, thought and done everyrhing in details. Very relaxing atmosphere away from the crown and city life. Staff were very friendly, owner was there to introduce herself too. Congratutaltions, great work. Breakfast was ver good with many options that are very tasty. Rooms were so nice and neat. Everything in beige and pyre white. Swimming pool area was great. We really enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended...

Exceptional hotel and property. Spacious beautiful grounds. Lots of areas to relax in comfort. Large swimming pool with many shaded chaise lounges. Well appointed, very clean rooms. Spa facilities are available. The breakfast buffet was truly extraordinary. Dinners were also exceptional. Wonderful meals that were beautifully presented. You feel relaxed and calm while on the grounds of this superb hotel. The woman owner, Giusi Orefice, is present at the meals to ensure the highest level of guest experience. She is quite gracious and friendly. The staff (including Claudia) are all very well trained, friendly and happy to help you. Staying at this hotel is a wonderful experience.
