Zenzero e Limone

We stayed here for three nights. It is in a quiet residential area near the archeological museum and park and the catacombs. A short distance to walk to all. Breakfast was exceptional - croissants, cakes, yogurt, cheese, fruit and coffee/tea. It was very clean and the hosts were very friendly. I will definitely recommend staying here when you are in town.

Marco and Pina have made this bed and breakfast feel like a home away from home. The love that they have put into it shows through every element. The environment is so welcoming. Luisa is an amazing addition. The food is delicious and the rooms are spotless. Would recommend 100%. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We will be back for sure. A+++++ 5 stars!!!

Nulla da eccepire,la struttura ha una posizione strategica e molto tranquilla. L'accoglienza è stata ineccepibile, Luana è stata deliziosa e attenta a tutte le esigenze. Con volo leggiadro di lusinghiere parole, mi concedo l'onore di tessere una recensione di rara bellezza per il B&B Zenzero e Limone, un'oasi di delizie sita nella splendida Siracusa, ove l'incanto si fonde con l'armonia.Innanzitutto, non posso fare a meno di esaltare la scelta del nome "Zenzero e Limone", un'armoniosa sinfonia che si erge come un inno alla freschezza e alla vitalità, come un'opera d'arte rinascimentale.Nel cuore di questa pittoresca dimora, ho trovato rifugio tra profumi avvolgenti e decori eleganti, cullato dal calore dell'accoglienza sincera, offertami dalla premurosa Signora Luisa.Un luogo dove il tempo si perde, sospeso in un'eterna primavera. In conclusione, il B&B Zenzero e Limone di Siracusa è una meraviglia da ammirare e sperimentare, un'elevata dimora dove l'arte dell'ospitalità incontra la perfezione. Un'ode di riconoscenza si eleva verso questa dimora incantata, dove lo Zenzero e il Limone si sposano in una danza armoniosa di luce e fragranza, risplendendo come le stelle di Siracusa.

It is the modern B&B, where you have a chance to enjoy a good-size room with the functional shower-room, and then get a decent breakfast in the morning. The B&B is located inside the cluster of residential buildings, the area offers a vast parking space where a car may be parked without any problem. There may be a language issue with someone from the staff, their English is not great but - Hey! Google translates to and from Italian pretty well, so there are no language barriers any more :-) The facility is very clean, very well maintained, and quite welcoming. And its close proximity to the Neapolis Archaeological Park is a real boon - a 10-min walking distance. However, you would need to travel to the Ortiga Island by car - and for us, travelling off-season, finding a free parking spot on the quay was not a problem, just locate the right spot. What we found NOT convenient is practical absence of restaurants in the vicinity of the Zenzero e Limone B&B. So, if you wish to have a good dinner, be prepared to have it somewhere in the downtown before heading to the B&B for night.

In posizione buona con un piazzale davanti dove si può parcheggiare comodamente. Le due signore che lo gestiscono sono attentissimoe a tutte le esigenze, la colazione è abbondante e di qualità, sia dolce che salata, pulizia ottima. Se torniamo da queste parti ci rifermeremo sicuramente ancora allo Zenzero e Limone.
