Courtyard Sioux City Downtown/Convention Center

We made our reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived at 1:00 A.M. (after driving all day) and tried to check in we were told that "the computer" had malfunctioned and the room we had reserved was not available. No effort had been made to contact us and nothing was done to help us find another hotel. I have never had such lousy service anywhere else and will never stay at a Courtyard hotel again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a week on business. When I checked in I was asked when would I like housekeeping. I said Saturday. Saturday came and went without my room being cleaned. On Saturday evening I went to the front desk and was asked when I would like housekeeping. I said Sunday. Sunday came and went. I went to the desk Sunday evening and was asked when I would like housekeeping. I said Monday. Monday came and went. Different people at the front desk each time. Besides towels and sheets you also depend on housekeeping if you would like a complimentary cup of coffee in the morning to make with your little in room coffee maker. And additionally there is this little flashing green light from the ceiling all night which I guess also cannot be fixed. I travel about 14 days monthly for business and am a Marriott gold elite member. Unfortunately I will avoid this hotel in the future

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was great (close to lots of restaurants and bars) and having a bar/cafe in the hotel was very convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

Location is great! Spent some time at a few bars downtown before heading to the Hard Rock ******. The hotel is in the middle of both locations so we were able to walk to each venue. Check in was smooth and fast, room was clean and spacious. We will be staying here again.

This is a great Hotel. It is very clean and the entire staff is very welcoming. Located right downtown there is plenty of places to eat but why go anywhere when the hotel has some really good eats right in the lobby. Look forward to staying here again.

Everything from arrival to departure was great. Coy was working overnight and when the arm wouldn’t go up so I could exit the ramp he immediately came out in the snow and subzero weather to help me out. Every employee was friendly and made sure there wasn’t anything I needed during my extended stay due to the weather.

Stayed here for three nights in December 2023. Checkin was somewhat easy, the front desk had trouble making keys. This is a newer hotel and the decor on the inside was pleasant. The room was a typical Courtyard room, not much to write about there as they all seem similar. What I will say is I lived in Sioux City in the late 90s and there was never a place this nice hotel wise. Lot of rundown properties. The breakfast in the restaurant was robust for the mornings I ate there. Service was fine, they apparently love their potatoes there. Parking is ok, there is a garage up the hill, but there is an elevator if you need one. Indoor pool looked nice.

This hotel is beautiful…..uniquely designed lobby, and rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly, and informative/helpful. It was an inviting stay right in the middle of downtown near restaurants and nightlife! It’s a clean, fresh, beautiful property to stay while in Sioux City!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The bed was really comfortable. We had clean towels throughout our stay. The room is very comfortable for sleeping. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. The fitness room equipment was in working condition and top of the line. Last but not least was the convenience of nearby restaurants and a movie theater.
