Perfectly lovely stay. Probably not as upmarket as the website makes out - a lot of the facilities feel like they haven’t been updated in 20 years or so. But all perfectly usable and clean, and staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful (and almost all spoke perfect English, and which was a pleasant surprise). Food options were good, with standard basics each evening but also more local specialties. Lots of variety of meals. Location was strong, with a lovely view of the lake and dock. About a 15 minute walk along to the seafront, though there were lots of hireable scooters outside which made it much faster. Hotel itself was very quiet during our mid-June visit, which was nice. Dining space was almost totally empty so we never had to wait. The “spa” is really just a medium pool with adjoining kids’ pool and hot tub. Perfectly pleasant but probably closer to a leisure centre experience than a luxury one. Don’t think there were ever more than six people in the pool at a time, including the two of us. However the steam rooms and sauna are only used a few days a week, so weren’t on for the duration of our stay, which was a bit disappointing. Bedrooms were basic but absolutely fine. A kettle might have been nice but maybe that’s just my British showing! Air con in the room was much appreciated; we had it on around the clock. I would definitely recommend the hotel, but would advise not to focus too much on the “four star” part of the name, and instead expect a more standard holiday package hotel experience. My only other note is that we were plagued with flies while out on the balcony in the evening. Not the end of the world and certainly not within the hotel’s control, but it was mentioned in passing during checkout that we could have asked for bug spray at reception - keep in mind if you have a lake view room!

We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late.

Mittlerweile waren wir bestimmt schon sechs mal im Hotel Yacht zu Gast. Dieses Mal waren wir zum ersten Mal in der Hochsaison. Das Hotel entspricht in fast allen Punkten der Kategorie von vier Sternen, Luft nach oben gibt es alle Mal. Pflanzen vor Eingangsbereich vertrocknet, macht einen sehr schäbigen Eindruck, etliche Fliesenmosaike im Whirlpool und Schwimmbad lösen sich und an den scharfen Kanten ist Verletzungsgefahr gegeben! Sehr störend und nicht nachvollziehbar empfanden wir diesmal (Unser 1. Besuch in der Hochsaison) folgende Situation: neben dem Hotel Yacht ist das Hotel Molo (abstoßender Zustand) von dem aber die Gäste das Frühstücksbuffet und den Wellnessbereich des Hotels Yacht kostenfrei mit benutzen durften. Wir sehen nicht ein im Hotel Yacht einen extrem höheren Preis als Gäste im Hotel Molo zu bezahlen und dadurch Trubel beim Frühstück und im Wellnessbereich zu haben!! Normalerweise sollte das Moto "you get what you pay" gelten! Zum Glück wird angeblich das Hotel Molo demnächst abgerissen. Wird sich diese Situation mit den Gästen vom Hotel Molo im Hotel Yacht nicht ändern, werden wir und viele unserer Freunde nicht mehr im Hotel Yacht buchen! Sehr positiv zu erwähnen ist das ausgesprochen freundliche Personal in allen Bereichen, die hervorragende Küche beim Abend Buffet bei dem es immer eine Veganes Angebot gibt und dass Hunde herzliche willkommen sind.
