Front desk was kind enough to let me check in a couple of hours earlier. Was even greeted warmly when I arrived. Even let me have the lower bunk as requested. Too bad that there's a heavy snorer in the same room and I didn't have much sleep for the last two nights I was there and literally overslept my check in hours. Really have to rush myself out coz they have someone else for that spot, which was understandble. Overall, I am still more than happy with my stay over at Campbell Inn. Nearby 24 hrs convenient stores and eateries work well for me coz my work ends quite late at times. And they even have vending machines selling drinks and snacks and their own fridge selling sodas and drinking water. I will definitely be staying here again soon. Perhaps, for a little while longer next time. Thank you, Campbell Inn. Good job well done.

Une catastrophe, seul l’emplacement était bien et encore Chinatown est mieux. Les douches sont ridiculement petites et au nombre de deux. Les chambres n’ont pas de fenêtre, l’établissement voit séjourner des cafards et autres nuisibles. Le personnel est invisible et désagréable. De plus, de l’humidité est présente partout.

Not really recommended for someone who can’t sleep if there is a lot of noise

All staff to be more welcoming and friendly...they should think of separating men and female toilet and showers.

As we arrived in our room, we noticed bedbugs and cockroaches in the beds. Because of these unbearable conditions we had to leave the hostel immediately. Toilets and showers were in a terrible state and not close to a normal hygiene standard, there was mold everywhere. The rooms were not even close to the description and the people in our room made a very unpleasant appearance and harassed us. We were continually stared at and were not able to store our valuables without them seeing. Also there was a guy sleeping on the floor, without a booked bed. It doesn’t seem to be a hostel but more a long term stay for workers, which has nothing to do with your description of a backpacker hostel.
