Holiday Inn Express WASHINGTON DC N-SILVER SPRING by IHG

Pretty nice experience. Huge selection for complimentary breakfast. Rooms were clean. I left some belongings behind and they held it for me so I was able to retrieve them quickly.

Estuvo bueno la ubicación

위치가 좀 아쉬웠지만 청결하고 서비스가 정말 좋았습니다. 편의시설도 좋고 훌용했습니다.

離地鐵站口稍遠的，停車場收費每晚要20 刀，毫無性價比

The hotel was fine, but going through tripadvisor added $128 in fees, much more than I would have paid by booking directly through the hotel. Worse yet, your website made me think I was booking through the hotel. I will never use tripadvisor again.

Really enjoyed stay at your hotel . Desk manager ROM on Aug 22 am was exceptional . We just got bumped out of another hotel . He welcomed us . Even carried our bags . Very clean bathrooms . Well organized . Always recommend this place .

Been coming here a few years for business, and it has gotten progressively better with renovations. Rome at the front desk is always a delight, and the customer service has always been top notch. they’re still renovating but the rooms now have the clean holiday inn express look. The room was ice cold when I walked in, appreciated in the August heat. Fresh furniture, carpets, and sheets. Clean bathroom. They are a BUSY hotel. Tour groups, tourists with families, all walks of life. The parking fills up quickly as a result, so check in as early as you can! Location wise, you’re right near the silver spring metro station for easy access to DC, close enough to the highway, and right near Rock Creek Park for some amazing cycling. I come here for a good room rate with enough proximity to easily enjoy some time in DC and Rock Creek.

Overall, the hotel was okay, but there were several policies that were never mentioned on their website or during the booking process that would have been helpful to know in advance. One of the biggest surprises was their payment policy. They have strict rules regarding debit cards, particularly those issued by online banks like Chime, which they do not accept. This is something that should be clearly disclosed before guests arrive to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. Another policy that caught us completely off guard was the dress code. We went down to breakfast wearing pajamas and were told we had to return to our room and change before we could eat. While the hotel is certainly entitled to have a dress code, it should be clearly communicated ahead of time rather than surprising guests during their stay. The room doors were also difficult to unlock at first. It often took several attempts with the key card before the door would open, which became frustrating. Parking is extremely limited, and it is even more challenging because the breakfast area is currently being renovated, reducing the amount of available parking. The staff did their jobs, but they could have been a bit friendlier and more welcoming. Since this is a two-star hotel, my expectations weren’t especially high, but a more hospitable attitude would have made the stay more pleasant. Overall, the stay was fine. The room met our basic needs, but the undisclosed policies and limited parking made the experience less enjoyable. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it also wasn’t a memorable one.

Rome was very helpful during the check-in process and answered all questions very pleased with his attention to detail
