Struttura molto elegante e tranquilla. Il personale è sempre disponibile a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Tutti estremamente gentili e disponibili anche a scambiare due parole dimostrandosi curiosi verso ospiti che vengono da lontano, tutto con la tipica eleganza e riservatezza asiatica. Le camere sono dei piccoli cottage molto curati, la pulizia delle aree comuni comincia la mattina presto e prosegue tutto il giorno con la massima cura. L’esperienza al ristorante interno è stata ottima sia per la varietà dei piatti che per la qualità di quanto proposto. L’offerta era ampia e le quantità tipiche dell’isola, decisamente abbondanti. Colazioni indimenticabili. Piscina disponibile 24 ore il giorno in un ambiente che permette il massimo relax. Una struttura che permette di godere di una qualità superiore alla media a prezzi decisamente accessibili.

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Atha Resort per tre magnifici giorni. Siamo finiti da loro per puro (e fortunato) caso poiché l’hotel che avevamo prenotato quasi un anno prima ci ha comunicato il giorno precedente che eravamo in over Booking e ci aveva spostato in un hotel assolutamente inadatto. Quindi ho cercato al volo una sistemazione e quando abbiamo visto il resort abbiamo capito che era perfetto per i nostri ultimi tre giorni in Sri Lanka. L’atmosfera è veramente suggestiva con questi piccoli chalet su palafitte di cui molti circondati dall’acqua. Piscina pulitissima ed accessibile a qualunque ora del giorno. Il ristorante è incredibile… menú vario e tutto ottimo oltre che ben presentato. Si respira tranquillità in ogni angolo e questo è merito anche del personale sempre attento e mai invadente. Consiglio assolutamente un soggiorno in questo resort.

Very modern and spotless rooms laid out in a very pretty garden. Extremely comfortable bed and nice big towels. Evening meal was very tasty. The Indian curry meal takes 1hr to prepare so it’s a good idea to put your order in before you arrive at the restaurant. There was enough rice for two in the curry meal option but not enough of other dishes so no good for sharing. Breakfast is a set menu with choice of English or Sri Lanka. English consists of tea, coffee, fruit, assorted bread and an egg cooked to your specifications. Staff all friendly and helpful.

A well designed property that has some of the best staff and food we experienced on our trip to Sri Lanka. Really wish our schedule could have changed so we could have stayed longer. The restaurant was top class with an amazing spread for breakfast and great choices for dinner. The rooms were amazing and the grounds were very well designed.

We spent two nights at this resort and had a lovely time. Rooms are a bit small maybe but have all you need for a short stay. We really enjoyed the pool, fresh towels are provided daily. They have a restaurant open all day from 7:30am to 10:30pm, the staff works above and beyond for guests. The waiters are super lovely, always up for a chat and they provide a superlative service. We even used their laundry service which was affordable and with a 24hrs turnaround. The highlight of this hotel is their breakfast! Everyday they have a different Sinhalese choice which allows you to try different dishes and omg how tasty! Every dish is explained by the staff who also suggests how to combine all the dishes. You also get fresh fruit, fresh juice, bread basket and anything else cooked you might want on order. Definitely the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka so far! Tip - for dinner better to go for Sinhalese dishes rather than western, definitely better quality! We will be back - keep up the good work!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Atha Resort. This is a good value high quality hotel. The staff are helpful and made us very welcome. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast a delicious Sri Lankan feast and pool lovely. Good value for money. Highly recommended

Atha Resort is a fantastic small hotel with incredibly helpful staff and manager, all of whom will do almost anything to make your stay more enjoyable. We stayed here for a couple of nights on a B&B basis and the breakfast was lovely as was dinner which was very reasonably priced. The rooms are very lovely and the bed very comfortable. The hotel had a decent size swimming pool with comfortable sun beds along one side - a great place to relax after a morning safari. If you are visiting the Sigiriya area this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was amazing, particularly the Sri Lankan Curry and complimentary breakfast (which included servings of juices, fruits, breads & traditional Sri Lankan food that changed each morning). We definitely recommend staying here.
