Just a short walk from the bus stop, this gem of a guesthouse is hands down the best place to stay in Sri Lanka. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always offering help and thoughtful advice. He even arranged for a local tuk-tuk driver at a very reasonable price, ensuring I had the best experience exploring the area. Every afternoon, he would check in and offer a delightful cup of tea, making the stay feel extra special. His wife’s cooking is an absolute highlight—breakfast was not just delicious but prepared with so much care, adding a homely touch to every meal. The room itself was super clean, big, and incredibly comfortable. From start to finish, they both made me feel completely at home. I can say this was the best accommodation I experienced during my time in Sri Lanka, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay.

在這個小鎮子上算是很乾凈的房間了，設施也齊全，有空調熱水，房間大床也舒服。老闆非常熱情，準備了歡迎果汁，第二天的早餐也精心準備，很棒。

Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren angenehm groß und sehr sauber – ein Pluspunkt für den Komfort. Der Gastgeber war aufmerksam, auch wenn die Kommunikation nicht immer ganz unkompliziert war. In der Umgebung gibt es mehrere Restaurants, sodass man gut essen gehen kann.

Geräumiges und sauberes Zimme Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren angenehm groß und sehr sauber – ein Pluspunkt für den Komfort. Der Gastgeber war aufmerksam, auch wenn die Kommunikation nicht immer ganz unkompliziert war. In der Umgebung gibt es mehrere Restaurants, sodass man gut essen gehen kann.

We’re surprised that they shut off the water . I woke up in the middle of the night and I can’t use the faucet because there was no water, told in the morning why they shut off the water system, I didn’t get the right answer. We can’t enjoy sitting outside our room because of mosquitoes. The breakfast is ok ( it’s edible)

Good choice We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after.

We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. They will also cook a good dinner meal for you. This can be a good option, because we only found one restaurant in town that appealed to us. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after.

Absolutely excellent service, the room was clean, tidy and the air con was lovely and cool. We had dinner, as well as breakfast. Both of which were top notch! There was also a nice area to relax outside. I would stay here again noproblem! Thankyou

Traumhaft gelegene Unterkunft mit schöner Ausstattung. Die Lage ist fern von jedem Straßenlärm und doch zentral gelegen. Die Zimmer und die Terrasse sind sehr sauber, das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Jeden Tag werden Frühstücks Wünsche erfragt und Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Super nette Gastgeber, jederzeit würden wir wieder kommen.

This is the best place in Sigiriya! :) we stayed here for two nights and it had been one if our favourite places in Sri Lanka. We loved EVERYTHING about this place. Everyone should come here! Mori our host is the kindest sweetest man. He never stops making sure you are happy. the food (made by his lovely wife) is INCREDIBLE!!! The most wonderful home cooked Sri Lanka food. absolutely delicious and giant portions…they just want to make you happy they’re such a nice family! The bed was very comfortable, cute place with a nice hot shower and the gardens around the place are beautiful. Mori is also an experienced senior guide of 30 years and knows everything about Sigiriya Rock and the area. He can give you a guided tour if you want (doesn’t pressure at all though he’s so nice). we climbed both Sigiriya and Pidurangala with him and it was really worth it! we got so much more out of it that way. The place is an amazing value - Just book it now! you won’t regret it :)
