On The Road Again

This hotel is in the downtown area away from Hwy 80. It’s an old place so don’t expect much. The beds were fine. Room was relatively small. The evening manager was friendly and helpful but not so much with the morning guy. Whoever decided to paint the outside black should be fired and the paint job was likely done by children. I felt uneasy about the place but did get a good quiet sleep. Breakfast wasn’t much but did get us going for the day.

This is a clean, comfortable, charming place and a really good value. It is well kept and has nice features - like the tile floors in the lobby and the live plants around the public spaces. Rooms are large and clean. Kudos to the owners and good luck in the future!

Great value for the money. Owners are friendly and helpful. Above all, this place is clean and comfortable. I am on a cross country motorcycle ride and this place has been perfect. Inexpensive and located around the corner from good food and beverages at the Silver Dollar Bar.

Value priced. An older downtown location, several miles from I-80. Very friendly Manager & even though this is a "Cow Town" (smell) the lobby, halls & my room smelled fresh. Extremely clean, great bed & pillows, strong stream on shower. Only coffee in the lobby. I travel a lot & I would stay here again if my trip dictates. So if you want a quiet, clean, safe place to sleep - all at half the price of the I-80 motels - this is your spot. There's a McDonald's close to your return to I-80 & you can get breakfast.

Yes, this is an older property, but my room was well maintained and very clean. The clerk that checked me in was friendly and polite. It is also within walking distance to a couple of places to eat, which I appreciated after a day of driving. Overall, I was pleased with the price I paid and definitely willing to stay there again when in the area.

Not too impressed with this place at all. My husband asked for a king bed and we got a queen. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. I switched on the light in the bathroom which the exhaust fan was hooked up to and it sounded like a lawn mower!!! A very small vanity didn’t give me much room for a flat iron. The bathtub was very very slick….I almost wiped out getting in the shower!! But there was good water pressure ! You could push in the shower walls were not glue to the wall. Tiles above shore were rusting and paint was chipped. There was one single plugin in the bathroom. One very small garbage can for the room. It was clean tho. Floor not level at all. I did chuckle with the land line phone…. You get what you pay for!!’

This hotel is a great value for the price! Other hotels we looked at in the area were double the price without offering anymore value. The building is older, but the rooms were CLEAN. The people there were very nice, and you can tell they pay attention to details. The breakfast is very simple and sugary foods, but for the price of the stay, it was fine! You could take the money you save staying here and go eat a very nice breakfast somewhere. We especially appreciated how quiet the hotel was! Other hotels we have stayed in are very noisy. I was also pleasantly surprised that the towels were soft and fluffy for hotel towels.

The staff (owner) was very friendly and accommodating. We booked a basic, no frills room but it did have a fridge/microwave/hair dryer. The room was clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. A great value.

Stayed for an overnight while driving cross country. This was a clean and quiet hotel. Everything is dated but for the price - about half of other hotels in town - you cannot beat it. Very convenient to downtown, an easy walk. Will stay again if stopping overnight in Sidney.
