I booked this hotel as the reviews were incredible, much better than other hotels that appeared better visually online but be careful reading the reviews - originally I posted a 5 star review because a staff member asked if I had a couple of minutes available before asking me to scan a barcode which took me to the review page and then watched and prompted as both me and my partner filled perfect reviews through pressure and awkwardness. Overall, it is a good hotel - clean rooms, aesthetically nice, great night entertainment shows, and I like how the bar staff are very quick to refill your drinks (this is also the same for the mini bar in the room). I also enjoyed the a la carte restaurants, and the water park is really enjoyable. The pool is a perfect temperature and the swim up bar is a good addition. The main negative issue with this hotel is constant pestering whilst you are around the pool from various members of staff. They will try to sell you hair cuts, spa treatments, photographs and also come to try and get you involved with all the different activities. It’s a very awkward uncomfortable 1 to 1 interaction every 15-20 minutes where no isn’t always taken as no without a further sales pitch or pressure. The sun-beds are plastic and quite uncomfortable, you have to pay for a cushioned sunbed 20€ per day. Most staff don’t speak great English so it’s quite difficult to place food/drink orders especially for any specific requirements. One time I ordered a pizza with Turkish sausage and received a salmon and onion pizza, due to language barrier. Smoking is also allowed around the hotel grounds rather than designated smoking areas, which my partner found unpleasant. The main restaurant food choices are limited, and the breakfast is definitely not catered for the English (do not expect any component of a full English to be available), also a lot of the meat contains bones. Some minor food poising on the last day and a very cold checkout experience left a sour taste. The women did not ask us how our stay was or say anything besides complaining and moaning about the fact we gave our towel cards to the towel man when we got our towels on the first day (as you’d expect), instead of keeping them to give back to reception at check out. A few facial expressions and some quite obvious further moaning in Turkish to her colleagues followed. It’s a 4 star hotel but provided a 3 star experience.
