暑假帶娃來英國旅遊，行程中安排了從牛津玩完自駕到科茨沃爾德最美小鎮去轉轉，沒想到停留在小鎮上的這晚讓人印象深刻，我們是兩大兩小，訂了三號套房，房間外表就是英國傳統小聯排，內部裝修和設施遠遠超過很多連鎖酒店，感受到了非常純粹的英國小鎮風情。特別要説的是樓下的餐廳非常棒，小鎮上居民在這裏吃飯的非常多，最好預留好座位。另外小鎮物價比英國低挺多，晚上在鎮上散步也很愜意，開車去科茨沃爾德的幾個小鎮大概就20分鐘，非常方便，過去自駕強烈推薦住這裏。

This was the second time we have stayed at the Bower House and again we were not disappointed. Its rare to find such a combination of luxurious bedrooms and a restaurant which is first rate. The whole Team made us feel extremely welcome and we very much look forward to returning again. Food is Michelin star quality but without the fuss or the price. Truly remarkable.

Many thanks to Paul and the team, great rooms immaculate through out,100% stay again. Very friendly staff Shipston-On-Stour is a great place to visit fantastic walks plenty of shops, the bower house great decoration in all the rooms Paul was kind enough to show us.thanks again. John and trudie.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The pictures don't do it justice, we were lucky enough to stay in room 4 (blue room) no expense spared with anything, every last detail was thought of. The room and bathroom was massive, the bath and bed were the best ever! Honestly cannot recommend enough, just gutted downstairs was closed, good excuse to go back again!

A lovely, well appointed room with lots of nice touches such as cookies, fruit and a very good mini bar. The bathroom was huge with a roomy shower and high quality products supplied. Breakfast is really very good with loads of choice and our evening meal was superb. Free parking is available on street although we parked in the Bridge St car park just down the road. Would definitely stay again.

This was truly one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve every stayed at. I wasn’t expecting too much since the Bower House only has a few rooms over the bar/restaurant but we figured the location would suit us for exploring the Cotswolds. The room was exceptional in every way. The bathrooms (there were two…one with the toilet and tub and the other with the shower) were gorgeous with dark marble and beautiful wallpapers. The bedroom was down a couple of stairs and had a huge bed, a small bar area, casement windows, and,again, sumptuous textiles and wallpaper. I would like to hire the person who decorated these rooms to do my house! We stayed in #3, by the way. The breakfasts were excellent but we were there over a weekend and unfortunately missed having lunches and dinners there because the restaurant is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday except for breakfast. Other than that, it was perfect!

Entrance into the bar area, which is very open and social when filled with customers. Then up a few steps to the restaurant/dining area. Rooms not accessible from within. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food: Ordered a starter each, shared their 1kg fish £58 which came with sides and a rhubarb dessert each. Expect to budget/pay a bit more £££ when in the Cotswolds. Just because it costs more doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. IMO all edible but underwhelming and therefore overpriced -1*. Located across from the co-op, looking out, Shipston-on-Stour on a Saturday evening appears to be quite happening.

Enjoyed our recent trip. Great location and the resturant linked to the bnb was divine. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. It was hard finding other places to eat on a monday and tues and the room only has one chair, so hard to bring back take away. The bnb has thought of the extra touches, some fruit, milk and cookies. The bathroom is divine with a lovely tub and large shower. Beautiful products used and a nice view. The only two things I had a slight inconvenience with was that the stairs were steep and narrow, making it hard to lug up two sets of stairs, and the chef who works mondays must be different to tuesdays, as Mondays breakfast was much more luxurious.

Room was wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable! Shower was a large, light and plentiful water flow! This is an outstanding selection. The only concern is parking but we got lucky both nights with nearby free on street parking. Great hospitality in the restaurant and a lovely walk in the area among shops.
