Harsha the Fern Shivamogga

I stayed here last year .... when the hotel was newly built...i would say that they are not able to maintain the standards... specially hygiene...but on the whole stay was good.... worth for the money spent

Excellent property with good value all round

Harsha, used to be good with service and ambience. I travel twice a year to Shimoga for my cricket matches and stay at Harsha. However, this year, the service was not upto the mark and the restaurant bill was double the normal price. The phone service was faulty most of the time and the service was totally delayed. We had to call the service help desk to set the tv right two to three times. Only when you call them they do the recharge for the tv, which I think is not the right option. Pool closes by 6:30 pm which is inconvenient for cricketers like me as we come to room at 6:30 pm after match and we don’t get an option to go to pool to relax. Overall, an average stay at Harsha.

Rooms are neat. Restrooms are dirty. Food is very bad. No facility for drivers stay. Located very far from city

Harsha the Fern is a clean, large spacious property. The lobby is large and inviting. The staff takes an effort to help you acquainted with the property. We were given the wintergreen room. It is large, spacious and has clean linen. I must appreciate how the sheets are fresh, smelt good and I had one of my best naps in the bed :) The room service is quick and convenient The buffet breakfast has a decent assorted spread. With South/North Indian varieties a few English breakfast options. We enjoyed our stay here. Good job Team Harsha

we booked fr 2 days and stay was good. clean and well maintained rooms. But water clogging was there in bathroom. No measures taken inspite of complaining twice , but assured to send within 5 mins. AC did not work , it was not cooling. came twice to repair. Light in the mirror at bathroom did not work. lighting was not focused on room mirror as we found it difficult to get ready fr wedding. we requested for 15 mins grace time to come n change n fresh up as checkout time was 12. (highly impossible to come back from marriage ) it's far from city about 7 kms no valet parking facility. no vehicle cleaning facility.
