I would not go into the details of the place , it’s all on the net , albeit , I would place the USP’s , in random order , as I write them . 1. The place is as contrary to Shimla as is rain to desert . It’s calm , green, quaint , not loud but still exquisite , plenty of walking areas and activities . Bang in the centre of a protected reserve forest 2. The chef is the “joie de vivre” , you name it , the team is an absolute hotsteppa . I loved the placement of a detail menu on the bfast table , and limited on the buffet . South Indian , local or continental- the delicacies were superb 😋. They don’t charge you for extras like a cold coffee or something , which the five Stars usually do 3. The staff is too friendly , the boys are so well trained and efficient , they give you an impression that they have known you for years . It was pleasantly surprising , very smoothly dressed , forthcoming but not interfering , a very very cute ensemble of boys and girls. 4. The architecture is colonial . Do not , I repeat , do not miss the library and its collection of a century old books and journals . The pool and jacuzzi is ‘gorgeous ‘ the views on a clear day are beautiful . If I think of it the only thing that may be classified as a negative point is the Monkeys .
