Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Shimla

What an amazing boutique hotel. The welcome on arrival was much appreciated, and the service and attention throughout my stay was faultless. Of all the hotels we stayed in in India, this was by far my favourite. It was relaxing, with breathtaking views, the room was spotlessly clean and so comfy, I slept like a baby! The food was among the best and happy hour was great fun. The road from Shimla to the hotel is not great if you suffer with travel sickness, but for me it was all part of the adventure and the end destination was well worth it. I can't recommend this hotel and the staff highly enough.

The Welcomhotel by ITC at Mashobra was a relaxing holiday for us. We did nothing, but laze. The hotel is midway into a valley, a few miles ahead of crowded Shimla. The property is not very large, and in that, you will not find any lawns or gardens to take long walks. The road leading out of the property is fairly impossible to walk, with slope tangent nearly 45 degrees. But within the hotel, you will find warm and hospitable folks, going lengths, even to suggest if they can get ***** “tea biscuits and cakes”, when you just asked for “tea”! Rooms are not large, but nice - with large panes and a balcony overlooking the valley.

This was our last hotel stop on the Great Indian Train Journey. The hotel is heigh on the hillside overlooking the valleys below. Mum and I had adjoining balconies which made it all the more special. The rooms have everything, are comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff could not have been more friendly. We were greeted with hot ginger snd turmeric tea, given traditional hats all with genuine smiles. The manager was really approachable, regaling us with alternate stories about scandal point. This is a small hotel with the air of an old hunting lodge. The decor is modern but in keeping with the surroundings. A wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town and a blessed relief from the constant beeping horns on the roads. Absolutely worth the train and car journey to get to it. Really restful private secluded hotel. I loved it. Thank you for being so very welcoming.

the best place to reboot yourself once you enter the place you never want to get out of there the beauty of the place traps you there and the hospitality and resources make it all worthwhile truly a paradise it’s my reboot place i go there once every year

The stay at Welcome was great. This place ticks all the boxes from comfort, location, food and hospitality perspective. Bar here is great place to sit and chill in evening . There were many options for the Breakfast and you get sun rise view at restaurant. Staff is very courteous and polite. Neha at the reception was very polite and helpful .

Pooja , sheetal, bodjraj, harish, chef vineet were vry supportve throughout our stay and made our stay a memorable one..whole team was on der toes wenvr v askd for sum food..The chef prepared food on our requiremnt and taste and also v bcame like a family..Thank you for the fab ITC team and all ur love..would visit again for sure
