Qiuguo S Hotel (Shenzhen Science and Technology Park Nantou Ancient City)

Työmatka toi minut Shenzeniin, ja valitsin Qiu Guo S -hotellin. Kokonaisuudessaan oleskeluni oli erittäin vaivaton. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli nopeaa ilman jonottamista, huone oli siisti ja puhdas eikä siinä ollut hajua. Äänieristys oli myös hyvä, älylaitteet toimivat hyvin, palvelu oli nopeaa ja vastasi odotuksiin. Hinta-laatusuhde oli erinomainen.

This place is the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed at and I truly believe all hotels should be modelled after this one. The place is clean and spacious both in the lobby area and the room itself. I stayed in the superior queen room & opted to add the breakfast option (yummy btw). I forgot to take pictures of the actual room but trust when I say it looks exactly like the provided photos. The bed is soft & has both a firm & soft pillow options. The comforter is clean & fluffy. The tv is huge and of great quality though forewarning it only provides Chinese tv/apps but it still worked out for me because they were airing the 2026 fifa matches for free. There is a switch board next to the bed that controls the lighting and curtains. There are several types of lighting that range from dim/ comfortable to fully bright. There's both heavy set curtains and gauze curtains that allow light through while maintaining privacy. The tea set up next to the window is cute/quaint though tbh I didn't use it since. There is also an iPad next to the bed that you can use to contact the front desk or control the room with but it only understands Mandarin so I didn't use it. The room not only has an A/C unit but also a dehumidifier which is great for escaping that hot humid Shenzhen weather. The ac you do have to turn on manually (located next to door) but it runs great and works quickly. Moving on, the toilet area has a switch for the exhaust fan just outside the door which is very nice that it's not connected with the light switch that way it can stay running even if the lights are off. The toilet itself is a cool modern bidet that flushes automatically, with the remote, or with the button at the bottom that u tap with your feet to flush. Now the shower is my favorite part of this whole room. It has 4 different faucets all with great water pressure, and of those, 3/4 had different "modes". The shower water gets hot almost immediately and stays hot too! Water never got cold on me even once and I take long showers (45 min- 1hr)! The controls to the shower may look confusing but actually it's really simple. The right hand lever pulls out & that will allow water flow. The right hand lever can also be adjusted up/down to control water temperature. The buttons on the left hand side control which faucet the water will come out of so just fiddle with it & see which one you like best. They do provide soap/shampoo/ conditioner & certain toiletries but I opted to buy some different shampoo/conditioner as I have long wavy hair that wasnt compatible. The sink area had a large mirror with led lights inside which was great for make up. There was also a large body mirror as well directly next to the sink. Moving on, they had great amenities such as a laundry room (not free fyi and you need to buy your own detergent) with an ironing board and a steamer, a gym, yummy breakfast, free wifi, cute cats that live at the hotel, and an AMAZING location! Seriously the location could not get any better. I was literally a 2 block walk from nantou ancient city, a musuem, and 2 different rail way lines. In addition to this there are conviemce stores, small grocery stores, street food, fast food, coffee, and more just within walking distance (less than 5 min). There's even a fancy highly rated restaurant attached to the hotel itself. This was my first time visiting china and having such a great home base to stay at was such a pleasure and a relief. Lastly the staff was friendly and helpful and while none of them really speak fluent English that's okay because this is china and I really wasn't expecting them to in the first place so with that in mind make sure y'all got yalls translator apps on deck because once that language barrier is out of the way they really are so helpful/kind and always greet you when you're walking in too! I highly recommend this hotel and honestly miss it now that I'm gone. Hope this review helps anyone who's on the fence! You won't regret it!

Near Nantou city. Family friendly facilities with bunk bed suitable for the kids. The cats at the lobby were cute and provide entertainment for the kids. Breakfast was quite well spread.
