Umbi Sharks Bay Diving Village

This is now the 3rd time here scuba diving with UMBi. This time didn’t disappoint at all. Emailed ahead to book a couple days dives. Two boat days, one local north covering Ras Bob, Nasrani areas then local south towards Ras Mohammed covering Temple and Umm Sid, then a night dive the sharks bay. Always greeted with a warm welcome, lovely team there, met some other solo divers which was always great to do. Superb professionalism both on shore and on / in waters can’t wait to get back.

i spent 10 days here. it was wonderful. all the staff are very friendly and helpful. also the food was delicious. the diving was great and well organized. i did the open water course and loved it. the instructor was very professional and patient. i had a great time.

Spent three nights on liveaboard Freedom 3 with Fady and Kareem as dive instructors. Absolutely fantastic experience that included 10 dives over three days. All of the crew on the boat go out of their way to make you comfortable and assist with anything you need. We saw a ton of eels, barracudas, turtles and some sharks. Fady and Kareem knew which sites were best for the time of the year and also what times to go to avoid divesite traffic from other boats. Food was brilliant and always plenty leftover so never any concerns about being hungry. It’s awesome to have downtime between dives to rest in your cabin or the saloon. I will definitely be booking again with Umbi Sharks Bay but likely a 5-7 night instead of 3.

It’s the best place ever, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food specially seafood as it’s always fresh. They take care of all the details, the shore is charming u can see fish while you are setting on the beach. The toilets are clean, there are a lot of activities you can enjoy while you’re there such as snorkeling, diving, fishing, banana boat, parasailing and butterfly.

Other than I had to climb 92 stairs to get to my room and the shower is small I liked the place. I had a great view of the water from my room. I had breakfast and dinner included with my stay. It's easy to have them call a taxi for you. They have an airport shuttle too. Right on the beach at a very reasonable price. Everyone was nice and very helpful, I travel by myself and can run into problems. I will use Umbi again next time I'm in Sharm El Sheikh
