The private snorkeling area is a plus. Is full of Russians guests for some reasons and every staff was assuming we are Russians as well. Was kind of annoying.

thanks to Omar, who cleaned our room, a very kind and helpful person. excellent beautiful sea, many different fish and corals. You will never go hungry, the food is very good and generous.large and clean area. everything is super, no shortcomings

Arrived and greeted by friendly reception staff. First impressions were great, lovely big lobby and nicely furnished. Quick and easy registration then shown to our room by the concierge. We had room 1235, we were told that they had upgraded us to a sea view. Yes we got a sea view, well we could see the sea but it wasn't quite what we had expected. Could see it over the roof tops. Room was large with a good sized balcony, separate bathroom with hairdryer and free safe. Twin beds not what we had expected but they were large beds more like two queen beds and it didn't bother us being separate. Room was tired and could have done with a revamp, old furnishings etc and bathroom had cracked floor tiles missing grout from round door frame ,bath and sink. Couldn't get anything on the tv apart from one foreign channel but we didn't go to watch tv so not bothered. Had a slight issue with leaking water half way through week on bathroom floor but a word with reception resolved this very quickly. We could have moaned about the room from the start and tried to move but we were only there for a week so it was fine. House keeping was good and had a couple of towel arts. As in pictures. Restaurant is excellent it has a wonderful manager called Moataz, nothing is to much trouble for this man do not hesitate to approach him and ask him for anything you need. The food is varied and also has theme nights. My wife is fussy but could always find something to eat. Beef is amazing. Mainly eastern Europeans visit so this reflects on the food. Russians can be a little rude but we just tolerate them and let them get on with it. Not many british people when we visited. Tables are cleaned quickly and set up nicely for the next guest. It can get busy at times but you learn when to go when it's quieter. Bars are good they use plastic cups outside and inside but if you ask you will get a glass inside. Beers ok and spirts not to bad either. Bar staff are friendly and will greet you with a smile. Pools are nice with pool bar which serves food at lunch time as does the beach bar. Beach is small and not sandy more shingley but that's a plus for us as you don't get sand everywhere. Snorkeling off a small jetty is great and has a quite good selection of fish to see. Well worth taking you Snorkeling gear. Short walk to soho square or free buggy ride if you fancy it. Entertainment team make a great effort and provide you will all the usual games and exercise routines. Night time entertainment is hit and miss but always something to watch. Overall we had a great time at the Grand Oasis Resort and yes we would go back and probably will depending on prices. We would give it a 8/10.
