Jewel Sharm El Sheikh Hotel

We were meant to be staying here, however the hotel cancelled our reservation less than six hours before our arrival, the reason was the had “sewage issues” however we walked down to the hotel a day later and none of the staff could recall this issue. So be warned, they are very untrustworthy. Yes we did get refunded the money and yes it did look like a great hotel, but sadly I had to been something else last minute with limited availability and it was sub par which ruined our stay at Sharm el Sheik !!

Wonderful location looking over Naama bay and the Red Sea. Right next to dive boat pontoon, Shower brilliant, beds very comfortable Really good mix for breakfast including freshing cooked omlets. Staff really nice, very helpful and accommodating

We had booked all inclusive at another hotel over the road that did not have direct access to the beach so were permitted to use the Jewel. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome we ended up staying for lunch in the 2nd day, then breakfast and lunch the following day and then decided to just move in there for the remaining 3 days of our holiday. The service is at least 10 stars from everyone. The food is fantastic. The evening meals are not the traditional buffet type from the resorts as this is predominantly an Egyptian hotel so dinner is get what you are given. But , this was genuinely fabulous as you get about 6 different plates each of local foods that were all more delicious the more you ate. Staff would bring us local things to try and all were so pleased to share things with us. We were honestly treated like friends. The hotel is spotless. We had a fabulous room with a huge terrace overlooking the sea. Very well equipped. The sun terrace is perfect and the access to the sea with a multitude of spectacular fish to see. Life guards look after you all day and pool side drinks and food are so well priced. All food was beautifully presented and you can tell that all of the staff are passionate about what they do. We loved every second we spent at this hotel. It was my birthday whilst we were there and they arranged a fantastic meal by the sea for us with flowers and decorations. Our room was filled with flowers and balloons too. So much attention to detail from all. When we left we had hugs from the staff. The staff at this hotel made this one of our best ever trips and we are booking to go back in March. Unfortunately we then had to go back to our original hotel to check out and collect our big suitcase (we had only taken overnight bags to the Jewel) and the difference in everything was even more obvious and this made us even more grateful to have discovered this hotel which is honestly the ’jewel’ of the Red Sea. Very highly recommend.

Please please please please don’t book this hotel !!!! We stayed next door at lido ( fantastic place) but these want to take it over so play loud music till late even tho they had nobody staying , we spoke to lots of people and we’re told they are trying to force them to sell to them for a pittance

From a time to another i do book a beach use and every time i get my stuff and everything with me food equipment water etc and after the 5th time coming i went for swimming and there is a life guard there very respectful and another people working in the cafe i finished swimming cheching my stuff did not find my iphone did not find money in my walet did not find my diving watch Thats why i do not recommend it for any body

Antes de nada aclarar que mi puntuación se debe solamente al nivel de limpieza del hotel, sobre todo en las habitaciones y la moqueta de los pasillos. Es una pena que un hotel tan bonito, en un sitio inmejorable, con unas vistas espectaculares, un personal tan amable, un buen desayuno buffet, tenga una limpieza tan deficiente de las habitaciones. Hemos estado 11 días y no han limpiado bien el cuarto de baño ni un día. Las toallas las han cambiado en dos ocasiones y su color tampoco era muy blanco. No han cambiado las sábanas ni un día. Cuando llegamos había manchas en el suelo de la habitación, el mueble y en la terraza que han seguido allí durante toda nuestra estancia. No volvería salvo que mejoren las condiciones de limpieza del hotel. Gracias a todo el personal por su gran amabilidad y buen trato.
