Westbury Lodge was an absolute saviour for us and our pup after having to leave two prior properties due to various issues. Rosemary and David were so welcoming upon our late arrival and chatted with us for a bit before taking us to our room. David even took our luggage up to the room for us when we arrived. The breakfast was amazing and thoughtful. The lounge and conservatory were both cozy and welcoming, and although it was a short stay, we enjoyed our time in those common areas on our last day. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and the furniture had the lovely B&B feel. The property was a very short walk to the beach and was everything we wanted and needed. Thank you Rosemary and David for a perfect place to call home after a very rough few days.

Top marks all round. Rosemary and David are a delight. You won't get a better room, breakfast (David your breakfast omelette is to die for) or attentive and sociable host anywhere on the island. Thank you so much Rosemary and David for your hospitality. I enjoyed every minute of it.

We stayed for an out of season weekend to see family on the island. The room was spotless, warm and comfortable. Had all the facilities you would expect. Breakfast a particular highlight, so much choice and super tasty. The owners arranged our ferry crossing for us and saved a fortune on the crossing. Thank you so much

If you are fortunate enough to be able to stay at Westbury Lodge, do so! Rosemary and David know how to run a lodge. They are friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of Isle of Wight. Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great, which included a hot, prepared on site, selection. Well situated, this location offers ease of public transportation and walking to shore or town. Thank you for making our pre cruise experience on Isle of Wight memorable. You are definitely a hidden gem.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful bnb with thoughtful hosts. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately clean throughout, lovely comfortable bed. Hospitality trays well stocked throughout and breakfast was a delight (with quality and offer more than you’d expect from a bnb) Rosemary & Dave went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. We look forward to returning Easy parking and close to the beach, Shanklin Chine and public transport

An absolutely perfect stay at Westbury Lodge this weekend - we had the whole place booked out for 14 friends to celebrate my 40th and Rosemary and David could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the beach lift meant we had a dip in the sea before going out for the day around the island. Brilliant local pubs are a ten minute walk. All the rooms are great sizes, immaculately clean with comfy beds all round. The attention to detail was over and above what we expected. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with so much choice for a large mixed group. We will definitely be back!

Another wonderful stay, Rosemary and David are the best hosts, nothing was too much trouble, everything was spotlessly clean, lovely room and very comfortable bed, the breakfast is soooo good. Highly recommended,10 out of 10 , lovely position near beach.

My grandmother resided at Westbury Lodge when it was a residential home over 25 years ago, so my sister & I decided to stay here for our mini break to the Island. It bought back some lovely memories for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners, David and Rosemary are lovely and welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. There is a great menu for breakfast, which was always piping hot and cooked well. We had a twin bedroom, which was lovely and spacious, with everything you could want for your stay. Stay here and you won't be disappointed; we will definitely return.
