Had a lovely lunch here great food and very good prices staff all very friendly definitely worth a visit Situated on the sea front at Shanklin very easy to park. We sat on the terrace with a smashing view but there is lots of room inside if you prefer

Friendly Staff , Great Breakfast , Easy parking , Great location . Stayed for 6 nights in September, must admit the weather was great during the stay, which always helps a visit . Vincent was great from the first meeting , helping with a parking app that did not want to work for me . We had 3 evening meals in the Waterfront during the stay which were all delicious . I chose the smallest bedroom in the hotel ,would advise you to choose a larger one . But I did not really spend much time in it other than sleeping . Its an old building so came with a few quirks , the shower was interesting one of those that goes from cold to scalding in a second ,I worked out the setting very quickly. Great break in a flat nice setting just across from the beach . many thanks to all the staff for contributing to a great holiday . .

Lovely restaurant/pub.We always pop in here when in the area on holiday.Over looks the seafront & plenty of seating inside and out some covered.Large varied menu lots of veggie options.Friendly staff always on hand and we have always been greated as we walk in.

Family group had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The staff were ok although had trouble finding a table for 7 on an empty terrace. Breakfast menu was good and food was good but not great. The view over the beach is lovely and I’m sure as a hotel guest you probably get better service. Shame.

From the outside this place looks quite inviting, that’s where the fun stops, the staff were friendly enough, the food however is mediocre at best, the table of 3 next to us sent their food( Lasgne), back as it was cold in the middle, sounds like another top Microwave chef in charge, when it reappeared it was dry and overcooked( ding ding classic), they refused to pay and left, our food was about a 3/10 but edible, strangely when we left there were only 2 other people in there , neither one eating ,just having a beer. When we left, the restaurant next door must of had about 35 people outside. Whilst I wish the waterfront all the best, please sort your food or chef out.

Really nice food and cocktails in a great location. Helpful, friendly staff. We sat outside on a lovely evening and enjoyed the view while we ate our dinner. I had a delicious paella, my daughter had a pasta dish and my granddaughter followed her standard choice of chicken nuggets, and they were good ones! We enjoyed a cocktail with our food one of which was non-alcoholic. Will happily go back there next time I’m in Shanklin.
