The property was well kept and very clean. It was in a very good location. The staff, Roger, Melissa and Zak were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, tidy and had on suite. Would book again if in Isle of Wight

Well what can I say!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! First ever visit to the Isle of Wight and it did not disappoint, The Fawley is a beautiful B&B only a walk away from a gorgeous beach. We met with friends and had an absolute blast. Mel, James, Roger and family were fantastic and saw to our every need, it felt like home from home, they welcomed us like we were family and the accommodation was superb, breakfast was huge and delicious and a wide selection of cooked breakfasts, pastries, fruits and cereals. If we were stuck for things to do then Mel would give us suggestions of places to go, she really knows the island and we had options of so many places to visit. We honestly couldn't have asked for more, one of the children wanted somethinh for breakfast they didn't have one morning and within 10 mins this was gone out and got for them, what a service and certainly wouldn't find that at home!! If you are looking for a break away please give this wonderful place a visit as you will love it, thank you to the The Fawley team for making a holiday to remember 🥰

Die Lage des B&B ist gut, zwischen Busbahnhof/Bahnhof und Strand. Die High Street mit Restaurants, Geschäften und Imbissen ist ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten fussläufig zu erreichen. Zum alten Teil, dem kleinen aber charmanten Old Village braucht man ein paar Minuten länger. Das B&B selber ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es braucht dringend einen frischen Anstrich. Innen ist es etwas besser, da wurde vor einiger Zeit teilweise renoviert und die Zimmer sind an sich hübsch eingerichtet. Aber auch hier fehlt es an liebevoller Pflege. Zum Teil sind es nur Kleinigkeiten, die sich aber schnell beheben lassen würden (kaputtes Kopfteil beim Bett - angeblich im Oktober neu bestellt, Lampe im Bad hängt aus der Decke, Rollo defekt, gräueliger Geruch evt. vom Teppich/von den Sesseln, veraltete Infomappe). Das Frühstück ist einfach (frisch gekochtes Frühstück, aber alles mit Eiern, zudem Toast und Cornflakes). Die Besitzer sind freundlich. Alles in allem für einen kurzen Aufenthalt durchaus aushaltbar.
