Casual Don Juan Tenorio Sevilla

This hotel is very well located. It’s old and the room wasn’t very clean, however. There is need to update some of the hotel facilities, the bed, for example, was uncomfortable. The staff are friendly. I didn’t try the breakfast.

L'hôtel est très bien placé, à deux pas de la cathédrale. C'est climatisé, les gens à l'accueil sont adorables. L'hôtel n'est pas cher très bien pour le prix.

The front desk was very accommodating.

La ubicacación, dentro de la ciudad vieja, es excelente. Los coches no acceden a la puerta, pero te dejan o recogen muy cerca de allí. La habitación era muuy grande al igual que el baño. Era una habitación )No. 111) doble, pero también había una cama individual. Contaba con aire acondicionado frío calor y TV. No tenía minibar pero nos dejaron una botella de agua de cortesía. Esta habitación tiene ventanas que dan justo sobre dos restaurantes lo que hace que haya bastante ruido a la noche y que a la mañana empiece a haber movimiento de sillas y cubiertos. Igualmente, las ventanas tienen doble vidrio y el ruido se amortigua bastante. Algo a señalar es que en el baño no nos dejaron jabón para las manos (me sorprendió que durante todo el viaje, en el 90% de los alojamientos a los que fui, no teníamos jabón para las manos). Había wifi en la habitación, pero por momentos era baja la señal. El desayuno era correcto. Se sirve en un restaurant contigüo con el que tienen un convenio. Hay café y té, jugo y agua, fruta, algunas opciones calientes, pan tostado, yoghur y cereales. El staff fue muy amable, especialmente Luis. Le dijimos que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y se mostró muy atento para poder solucionarlo. Cuando volvimos a la noche, nos preguntó si habíamos podido usarlo luego del arreglo y nos pidió disculpas varias veces por el inconveniente.

Stayed two nights during first trip to Seville. Reception was hard to find in a busy square but it is well marked, just a lot of visual competition in the courtyard of the Vernerables Hospital. Reception was friendly and efficient. Spoke English well. The hotel is in an ideal location within the old city wall. A short walk to everything. The compromise is the room was a bit… antiquainted. Our room window opened to an atrium with a glass ceiling below and above. There was diffuse light but no natural day light. The light in the lower level was on well into the night and while there are black out shades that did a good job, there was no natural light or any view. There were rooms opening to the outdoors but the compromise is there was probably more noise from the square on ground level. Air conditioning worked we’ll. No in room coffee maker or fridge- would have been a nice touch. Great water pressure and heat in the shower tho it was a hand held sprayer mounted overhead. Downstairs breakfast we’ll worth the 7 euros each morning with eggs, cereal, bread, pastry fruit yogurt and unlimited coffee. There is an elevator. Short walk from the local metro stop (across the old town) or we walked from Santa Justa train station about 20 min, all on sidewalks. Didn’t eat at the associated restaurant, but great place for early afternoon tapas and drinks under the shade of large trees. I would stay again but really try to get a room with an outside window.
