Excellent stay.Everything was perfect

Room - decent size and facilities although desk leg was a toe-stubbing hazard. But no more than you would get in a Premier Inn. Evening Meal - very average. Fish & Chips: fish still with skin and overcooked, Chicken skewer: starter size portion and very bland. Breakfast - probably the best bit of our stay but we were down at start of service and no-one had filled the orange juice dispenser, we were leaving as fried eggs arrived and had to ask for marmalade. We were then handed a couple of small jars surreptitiously as though they were the only two small jars they had... Seemed to be more geared for large groups than couples. Wouldn't return.

The room was comfortable and the facilities were good. Unfortunately the rooms are not well sound insulated and you can hear everyone in the surrounding rooms like they're in your room. The car park is in poor condition and spaces are quite small. The staff however were excellent and really helpful.

We stayed here to visit our son for a long weekend. After a tiresome journey on the car park known as the M25, we received a most friendly welcome and cup of tea. The room was very comfortable and breakfast superb. Staff are most helpful. I had read a couple of worrying reviews regarding the car park, so far, so good. Will update the review if anything changes!

Spacious, smart and clean rooms, good showers, comfortable beds. Quiet bedroom once we turned the air conditioning off. Excellent buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order and freshly baked pastries, good coffee, helpful service. I would stay there again.

I have never previously written a review for any hotel, let alone Trip Advisor. However, for this hotel I will, and the reasons will become apparent: After our stay, Donnington Manor Hotel sent me an email asking for a review; the email was a "no reply" and had no reply button!? Our room was executive, and fine; apart from an overflowing shower drain that sent water under the bathroom door, into the bedroom area. This was fixed speedily. Breakfast was poor due to inattentive or untrained staff. No system to alert staff to breakfast ready in the kitchen, therefore arriving cold. Bar server rarely behind bar, we observed several people giving up with their orders. Room not serviced as late as 3.00pm, when we returned tired and ready for a rest. Room serviced after complaints, and a wait of an hour. This review is written after a two night stay, booked direct with the hotel. I hope it helps.

PARKING SCAM!!!! I stayed here for 2 nights under a group booking, the hotel was good & clean. I was aware that they had a private company monitoring the car park, and I entered my registration number into the tablet at reception, and thought no more of it. 2 weeks after the stay I received a fine for £60 for parking. I contested the fine with PARKING EYE LTD, but they refused the appeal and continued through to prosecution. The hotel just referred me back to Parking Eye LTD, who refused any further evidence from me. If I had time, I would fight these sharks in court, but I don't. I am now out of pocket for another £170
