Vaikka hinta (25 euroa yössä) näytti meille korkea, koska huoneessa ei ollut mitään koirallemme (ei kengät, ruokailuvälineet tai mitään keittoa, kuten olemme nähneet muissa hotellissa). Hotellin sijainti, noin 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä keskusta. Ei paljon, mutta Setubal ei ole paljon pysäköinti vaihtoehtoja. Aamiainen oli hyvin, hyvin täydellinen. Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällinen."

"It was about 2 years ago since we were here last. A few things have improved but the rooms we stayed this time had no airco and for Portugal room without airco in the summer I can tell you it’s terrible to sleep. The breakfast is good, the service is good everybody is really friendly and helpful but the hotel really needs an urgent renovation. Attached picture is what you look at at breakfast could for sure use an urgent tlc"

"We were warmly welcomed by the owner Sara and truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious with artistic contemporary decor as well as outdoor patio spaces we enjoyed. We also immediately clicked with Cristina who was always gracious with local tips and advice as well as preparing daily breakfasts. We slept comfortably and it was surprisingly quiet overnight for a city location. There is metered parking out front along its Main Street. Just be sure to insert a few coins for the daytime. Sara and Cristina and 34 GuestHouse really made our Setubal visit very special!"

"A stunning building in beautiful grounds. Furnished in traditional Portuguese style with tasteful nods to the modern world. Yes, the rooms are slightly old-fashioned, but this adds to the charm. Spotlessly clean, large towels and classy sheets. Best to bring your own hairdryer if, like me, you're not a fan of those wall boxes! The breakfast buffet hits just the right note. Don't miss the delicious mini quiche, the queijadas and the homemade cake. Take time to wander around the grounds. Visit the goats and sheep and give the resident cat a stroke. The staff are faultless. Thank you Alberto, Luís, Cândida and all the others (whose names I'm afraid I didn't get) for making our stay a memorable one. Obrigaga a todos. "

"A simple but well run and very comfortable hotel more or less in the city centre. Spotlessly clean ; easy and free parking right in front of the hotel ; lovely and helpful staff ; excellent breakfast choice and quality ; and ( literally ! ) five minutes walk from a bunch of reasonably good but inexpensive restaurants. A problem with the lock on our bedroom door was solved within a few minutes even though it was Sunday afternoon. Terrific value for money and we wouldn't hesitate, not for a second, to go back there next time we're in Setubal."
