Hôtel de la Plage

We were here 5 nights in June 2022, returning after discovering the hotel (and town) in 2021. We are a couple travelling with one child. The hotel is really great! Best thing first: the staff and owners. Very friendly, very laid back, and really trying to help. Next best thing is the breakfast buffet. Small but perfectly formed. It actually allows a surprising number of options out of a simple looking set-up. We really like the design of the rooms/hotel. Done with some care and attention. And things work. We get a family room at the back of the hotel. so no sea view, but a nice terrace looking over Mont St Clair. The hotel is sited right at the beginning of the main beach that goes up to Marseillan. It's a perfect spot for the beach, and is right in between the two main sites of the Worldwide Festival. It's also easy to arrive at by car. I echo another review that mentions the parking. The free parking in the back of the hotel seems fairly tight to get in or out, but there is also a large car park right in front of the hotel. We paid €30 for a one week ticket. This was a real discovery for us in Covid lockdown (2021), and we loved being able to go back this June. It's a great base for exploring this lovely part of the world.

Accueil sympa par le patron,chambre trop petite environ 12 m carrée avec à l’intérieur une douche où il est difficile de rentrer mais fonctionnelle un lavabo pas de siège pour s’asseoir balcon avec vue sur mer bien avec une table et deux chaises pliantes Un lit en 140 de large mais literie hors d’âge Petit déjeuner bien copieux patronne sinistre et mutique Les moins l’emporte sur les plus

Situé sur le front de mer, la localisation de cet hôtel est parfaite pour les personnes qui veulent sortir du centre-ville et profiter d’une belle vue, qui se paie. La chambre dont nous avons profité et qui était située sur l’arrière était proposée à un prix raisonnable et était surtout au calme. Elle disposait en plus d’une petite terrasse privative. Le petit-déjeuner est correct. Un bon établissement à Sète.

Accueil très sympathique, jolie petite chambre très bien aménagée, buffet petit déjeuner très gourmand : du sucré, du salé....un hôtel convivial à découvrir ! Nous y retournerons volontiers ....la prochaine fois, nous tenterons la chambre vue mer 😊
