Hotel Cristallo

I had a lovely experience staying at Hotel Cristallo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sestriere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. Luca at reception went above and beyond, helping me order food from a local restaurant for delivery, fixing an issue with the old plugs in the room (which required a special adaptor), and even providing a kettle with tea and cups to make my stay more comfortable. Oksana, who served breakfast, was always cheerful and made sure everything was set up perfectly. The breakfast itself was a treat, with a great selection of pastries, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, and delicious coffee on request. The hotel's location is ideal—just a short walk with some steps down to the nearest ski lift, making it very convenient for skiers. While the rooms are a bit dated, they were exceptionally clean, and housekeeping did a great job with fresh towels daily and changing the sheets after the third day. The only downside was the ski storage room, which lacked lockers, so we had to bring our skis and boots back to the room, but it wasn’t a huge inconvenience. Overall, if I ever return to Sestriere, I would definitely choose to stay at Hotel Cristallo again. A great place with outstanding staff and a perfect location!

This hotel lives off only two things (1) Location (2) The Staff. It’s a weak 3 star hotel that is tatty and tired. Rooms, carpets, decor are all threadbare and careworn and it has the feel of half empty / soulless place, no bar etc. I imagine it was once, rather nice but those days are long gone. The staff were helpful beyond reason and breakfast buffet was quite good. If you are on a skimpy budget, maybe but beware it’s not value for money even at these prices.

Camera fronte strada ma non rumorosa, la notte nevicava. Le tende per fortuna riparano dal freddo che trasmettono gli infissi. Materasso decisamente rumoroso quando ci si gira nel letto. A colazione non c'era pane fresco ma solo fette di pane in cassetta bianco e integrale. Parte dolce accettabile, nel salato solo proscitto cotto, salame grana fina e groviera a fette. Solo uova sode. Ho provato a chiedere uova strapazzate, mi è stato risposto che non era possibile, no bacon o altro tenuto in caldo. Succhi di frutta in caraffe di plastica. Forse per 300€ a notte si possono avere delle aspettative un pò diverse.

Hotel accogliente, posizione fantastica. Menzione d'onore per la Sig.ra Alexandra delle colazioni,,,bravissima educata,e molto disponibile.e la Sig.ra Arianna della reception.brava,nel suo lavoro.un bravo a tutto lo staff reception...personale molto accogliente e disponibile. Una struttura da consigliare.unica pecca BAR,non funzionante,

Pessima esperienza, il prezzo non vale il soggiorno. Hotel in ottima posizione. Punto.! Moquette nelle camere che dí igienico ha già poco... trovato rifiuti dei precedenti ospiti nei cassetti, un calzino usato in un angolo, bagno con vasca e mezza parete per doccia, senza gancio per il tubo doccia. Televisione non funzionante , richiesto intervento, risposta: il tecnico non è in struttura! Quindi per un soggiorno di 2 giorni con check in alle 15 e check out alle 10, se vuoi vedere la televisione la sera ti arrangi. Peccato che con 411 euro per una notte, mi aspetterei anche di vedere la pay tv... invece tutti i cavi erano staccati. Ripeto per 411 euro non li attacco io! Anche la spina del frigo staccata. Frigo vuoto.

Buongiorno servizio alla reception ottima .. Luca mi ha dato preziosi consigli sui ristoranti da raggiungere per camminare nel paesino … spa piccola ma carina e colazione abbondante e buona … letti comodi e vicino a tutto … bar ristoranti e locali dove fare apre Sky come il gargote o l igloo non ho pranzato lì ma fatto apres Sky ottimo choktsi l’ analcolico in spazi molto grandi e ben distribuito …. Grazie hotel cristallo e al suo staff tutti molto gentili alla prossima Enrico Beltramelli
