Lovely welcoming hotel at the bottom of the slopes in Sestriere. The staff were always polite and obliging. Plenty of choice in the buffet style breakfast and evening meals. The ski lockers were below with access direct to the ski hire, lessons and slopes. Perfect location. We were lucky to enjoy a view to the slopes from our room. Totally recommend.

Had 2nd floor eaves room with large balcony facing the slopes. Clean, warm room & comfy bed with two pillows supplied. Plenty of storage in bedroom. Great shower, but could have done with an extra storage shelf in the bathroom. Heated ski locker room in basement, 10 euro refundable deposit for locker key. Direct access to slopes via underground car park. Basement bar with pool table, darts etc., plus lounge with bar on main floor. Evening meal (with free wine & water) was buffet style. Was a bit worried about the food after reading previous reviews but the food was fine - salad course, mains (which we found were always hot) & desserts. Difficult to please everyone when it's a buffet but we had no issues. Breakfast good but take your own mug if you like a decent size brew in the morning as provided cups are a bit small! Staff lovely too. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Sestrière 👍

Brilliant stay at Hotel Du Col Sestriere with Crystal Ski! The staff were truly exceptional - going above and beyond to make our stay special. They even specially prepared custom meals for me in the evenings and provided extra options at breakfast to accommodate dietary needs. Marcelo the manager is an absolute delight who made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The entire team creates this wonderful family atmosphere that makes you instantly comfortable. Food was excellent - fresh, home-cooked with plenty of variety changing each day, which makes the negative reviews elsewhere puzzling. Perfect ski-in/ski-out location saves so much time and effort. Rooms were super clean with attentive daily housekeeping, and finding lovely warm boots every morning was a treat. The Crystal website photos really don't do this charming place justice at all. Bar area was great with fun activities like the quiz night. Excellent value for money - we genuinely can't recommend Hotel Du Col Sestriere enough for your ski holiday!

Stayed here 2 years ago and had a good experience so we were happy to come back again. Noticed a few reviews from earlier in the year where it looks as though they may have had a new chef and issues bedding him in as there was a run of complaints about the food, but having stayed second week of March I can confirm there were no issues for us. Everything was hot and tasty, and though the layout of the buffet can lead to crowding and queues from those a bit too eager to get at their food, we found that if we turned up about half an hour after the buffet opened for the evening at 7.30 then things were a lot calmer. Food did run out, but with the exception of desserts (which weren't brought out until 8.30 anyway) then everything was replenished, especially if you asked. No issues with breakfast either. Otherwise hotel is much as it was. Room is absolutely fine if a little too warm at times. Excellent shower. We had views out towards the slopes which are only a short stroll from the ski room under the hotel. Irish-themed bar in the basement shows the rugby and was generally always quite busy, especially for the free apres-ski cake. Has a good selection of beers to choose from too, and prices though expensive were no worse than most of the other bars in town. Plus, the barman always gave us complimentary snacks! Sestriere is so high it's great for later in the season skiing. This hotel would still be my first choice in town if I was to come here again.

Great staff, Guendalina and Marcello top hosts, they are very friendly and very welcoming! Would definitely recommend! Please use this company they are so welcoming and will treat you as one of their own, please make sure you visit this company!!

There were some worrying reviews prior to our holiday, first week of March. The stay however was very good. Ski room, great, warm to the point of too warm. Bar well stocked, even got Desperados in for us. Staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms clean and tidy and adequate for what we required. The only downsides are no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the bar prices are high however, on the whole, very nice stay.

Let's start by saying that in the past years we had holidays in this hotel,we remember the brilliant Staff and the relaxed atmosphere, the food WAS wonderful with the best Chef at the buffet serving the customers, nice breakfast and top cake, no now,new staff and bad food invented day by day,only the strategic position it's ok,not the best breakfast and plastic sweets...Maybe Crystal is ok with this?..Next time in France..

We stayed here in 2019 and it is under new management now, so was a bit worried when I read certain reviews. Yes, it’s a little different but just as good as ever. I honestly don’t know why people are complaining. The breakfasts and hot buffet are excellent, with lots of flavoursome authentic Italian dishes. Plentiful good wine served complementary with meals. Staff in reception, bar and restaurant were friendly and very helpful. Rooms clean and modern. Excellent location for the piste. Secure parking. Everything you could want for a perfect ski holiday.

We had an excellent week’s stay in the hotel whilst skiing. The staff were all really friendly and looked after us well. Rooms were lovely and cleaned every day. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Ski out more or less from door.
