Super verblijf gehad in dit hotel. De hele staf en Victor een dikke 10, wat zijn we verwend en wat doet de iedereen zijn best! Het hotel ligt direct aan het heerlijke strand en is pas gerenoveerd. Let wel op je bent in Afrika en niet in Europa. Maar met recht Hotel Kombo Beach the smiling hotel on the coast van Gambia!

Zalig verblijf gehad in dit hotel. Mooie ruime kamers, hotel heel proper, lekker eten en super vriendelijk personeel. 2 minpuntjes: 1- in het restaurant zijn vaak tafels gereserveerd, waardoor je verplicht bent om buiten te eten (waar het soms heel winderig is). 2- Versierpogingen door sommige personeelsleden van het hotel. In andere reviews wordt vaak geschreven dat de zondagen heel druk zijn in het hotel, maar dit hebben wij helemaal niet zo ervaren. Leuke namiddag met de live-band. Voorzie voor ‘s avonds iets met lange mouwen, er is vaak wind. Taxi luchthaven - hotel: 20-25 euro Neem voldoende €5 mee als je fooien wilt geven en wissel euro’s naar de lokale munt. 100m rechts van het hotel kan je een kanotocht van een uur maken.

Dit jaar voor de t****e keer in dit hotel geweest. Vorig jaar was het nog niet af en waren er nog veel verbeteringen nodig. Dit jaar is er veel verandert. De kamers zijn prima. Het restaurant is ook verbetert en hygienischer omdat al het eten gekoelld blijft. Het eten is minder pittig, waardoor iedereen van het heerlijke eten kan genieten. Hou je van pittig dan kun je dit zelf doen door er dingen bij te doen. Iedere dag kwam Victor bij de tafels langs om te begroeten. Ook madeleine dit je een welkom gevoel geven. En was er iets dan kon je het melden en werd het, wanneer het mogelijk was direkt opgelost. Het personeel , van tuinmannen, de schoonmaak de bediening waren allemaal heel vriendelijk. Wij waren hier drie weken en hebben geen moment gehad dat we naar huis wilden. De laatste avond werd onze tafel mooi gedekt om zo de vakantie mooi af te sluiten. Wij gaan hier zeker nog terug komen. Ook uitstapjes gedaan met een lokale gids om die ook te steunen in drze moeilijke tijd. Zo ook de fruitladies op het strand , waar je heerlijk fruit kunt bestellen voor weinig geld. Zeker een aanrader om hier eens heen te gaan, maar houd ook in je achterhoofd dat het nog steeds Gambia is waar je bent.

Although I've travelled the world and stayed in many 5-star hotels, this one, especially considering its location in Africa, has far exceeded all my expectations, though it is not labelled as 5* but it is, indeed, seems like an impressive 5* resort. Resort Beauty: Kombo Beach Resort is an absolute paradise. The beauty of the resort is unmatched, with lush greenery surrounding you at every turn. Tall coconut trees and palm trees create a tropical haven everywhere, offering the perfect serene atmosphere. The well-maintained gardens and tranquil environment provide a perfect escape, making you feel like you’re in a slice of heaven. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy nature’s beauty. Location: The location of Kombo Beach Resort couldn’t be more ideal. Directly located on the beach, it offers stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the sand and surf. Additionally, the resort is perfectly situated, being just about 10 minutes from Senegambia, where you’ll find plenty of activities, shops, and restaurants. Whether you're seeking a quiet getaway or easy access to local attractions, the location caters to both. Food and Dining: The variety and quality of food at Kombo Beach Resort is exceptional. From traditional local dishes to international cuisine, there’s something to satisfy every palate. The meals are not only delicious but are presented beautifully. Every bite was a delight, and I was impressed with the wide selection available. Whether enjoying breakfast by the beach or a sumptuous dinner, the dining experience was top-notch. Cleaning and Hygiene: The cleanliness and hygiene at Kombo Beach Resort are exemplary. The rooms, common areas, and dining spaces are impeccably maintained. The staff ensures that everything is spotless, and it’s clear that hygiene is a top priority. Fresh linens, clean towels, and thoroughly sanitized spaces contribute to a comfortable and safe environment. I felt at ease knowing that cleanliness was handled with such attention to detail. Staff and Service: The staff at Kombo Beach Resort made our stay even more memorable. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable. Their genuine hospitality made a big difference, and it was clear that they take pride in making guests feel at home. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was kind and eager to assist. Minor Issue: While my overall experience was fantastic, there was a minor issue regarding the professionalism and attitude of one of the female managers. However, I reported the matter to the excellent manager, Emma, and I trust that she addressed the situation promptly. Ik heb onverwachts een van de beste vakanties ooit gehad. Gambia the smiling coast. Wat een vriendelijke medewerkers hebben ze hier in het hotel. Ik heb nog nooit op mijn vakantie zo een mega grote en frisse kamer gehad. Beste medewerkers ooit!

Hotel jest cały czas w remoncie. Jesteśmy nonstop zaczepiani. Nie można przejść plaża i wyjść na zewnątrz, bo Jesteśmy atakowani . Wokół panuje brud ,wieczory są bardzo zimne . Chodzimy w kurtkach. Nie polecam tego miejsca . Obsługa jest nachaln
