Wonderful place with wonderful staff. The food is exceptionally good. They have so much eye for detail. The accomodations are super beautiful and comfortable. Good location for starting game drives. Great sunrise view in the morning. Feels like home far away

Ci troviamo nel nord del Parco Nazionale del Serengeti, quasi al confine con il Kenya. Non è semplice raggiungerlo, ma appena si giunge all’Aurari Camp, ci si rende conto di essere in un piccolo Eden nel cuore della Savana. Quattro esclusive Luxury tented suites, con un arredamento ricercato e moderno, perfettamente integrate con l’ambiente circostante. Sempre a disposizione acqua the e caffè caldi. La vista dalle suites è incredibile e alla mattina si possono ammirare indimenticabili albe. Parliamo della cucina: di altissimo livello. La giovanissima chef Zaiwa prepara pietanze a base di carne, pesce e prodotti locali di una qualità incredibile: difficile trovare di meglio in un luogo così remoto. Ottima anche la selezione di birre, vini e superalcolici. Ottima anche la colazione, con la possibilità di scegliere più menù a la carte. Servizio da parte di tutto lo staff anch’esso di alto livello: grande gentilezza e attenzione ai dettagli. La sicurezza nel campo, siamo sempre in mezzo alla savana, e garantita dalla presenza di guardie che presidiano la zona anche di notte. All’orario di cena sono loro che ti accompagnano dalla suite alla zona ristorante. E per cena, se siete fortunati come me e siete nel periodo del mese corretto, potrete ammirare direttamente di fronte a voi una meravigliosa luna piena. Aurari camp e’ davvero un’eccellenza nell’ambito dell’accoglienza all’interno del Serengeti.

From the time we arrived at Aurori camp we knew it was special. The staff greeted us upon arrival and our hostess, Sara, made us feel right at home. She and the staff spoiled us for 3 nights and no request was too big. The food at Aurori was out of this world. We had 3 and 4 course meals for lunch and dinner and the breakfasts were wonderful. The chef and her assistant were outstanding! There are only 4 tents on the property and our group resided in 3 of them. The tents were beautiful, constructed on huge wooden platforms. We had a sitting area, king bed area with a beautiful writing desk and complete bathroom with double sinks and shower. We also had a back deck as well as a front deck. The zebras loved hanging out with us. If dark, we were told to flash a blinking light to be escorted back and forth to our tents. The wonderful staff was always close by and appeared out of nowhere when we flashed our flash lights. Finally, our guide was Steven. I can’t begin to say all the good things about him. He was professional, knowledgeable and wanted us to see as many animals as we could. In fact, we saw all of the big five but the rhinos. We saw cheetahs and leopards and, the highlight of our trip was when we saw the great migration of the wildebeest! Steven waited patiently one morning on a hill overlooking the Mara River. Suddenly, the wildebeest formed in a single line and began their run to cross. Steven quickly pulled up to the river’s banks and we saw thousands of wildebeest cross. It was the most exciting and amazing spectacle. He never let us down! I would definitely go back to Aurori Camp in the future.
