Mara Serena Safari Lodge

The Serena experience cannot be beat! My sister and I booked a multi-stop east african vacation (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Kigali, Lake Kivu, Gorilla Trek, Zanzibar) through Serena tours - so easy, so accommodating, responsive, and very reasonable prices (great value for a top-notch experience). From the Tour Advisors, to the personal drivers (from and to airports), to the concierges, to the beautifully updated rooms, the housekeepers, the laundry, the baggage, the chefs, the servers, the pool-side guards, the professional wilderness and city guides - each and every detail and service was delivered with reliability, security, precision, care, grace, excellence and the highest level of hospitality . The homey feel, the family friendly staff, the lovely vistas, fully equipped gym, and the highly trained and personable wildlife guides - made for another perfect trip to one of the most beautiful places on earth.

An incredible, raised location right in the heart of the abundant wildlife with stunning views across the savannah from the rooms and pool terrace. The game drives and hippo breakfast were truly memorable. Only minutes from the airstrip, we were met on arrival and enjoyed very personal attention throughout our stay. The smallish rooms do not have air-conditioning or TV and the food is OK, which is the only element of our stay that was, as everything else was excellent.

The customer service was completely stellar. Beautiful beautiful hotel, overlooking stunning savannah. The most comfortable bedding and pillows, comfortable room. Close but safe distance to the wildlife, so much so that I could here lions roaring in the distance. Also adored the spa and gym, enjoyed a complimentary steam bath with herbal tea. Overall, a wonderful stay.

This safari lodge has the best location and views in the Maasai Mara be none! Stunning and breathtaking. We had the most wonderful week there in January. The people, the hotel itself and the magical safaris are beyond words. I recommend this lodge thoroughly and you will be glad you booked ❤️🤩

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Mara Serena. The service was warm and all the staff were welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and the sheets had a nice scent. The views alla around the hotel were breathtaking. The food selection was diverse, with flavourful meals from a variety of cuisines. The entire experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend Mara Serena to anyone who wishes to visit the Mara.

The experience at Mara Serena was amazing! If I could give 100 stars I would. The service was so personal, from the cleaners to even the general manager. The views were just to die for, overlooking the plains with the crisscrossing wildlife. The rooms are simply unique in their Manyatta style. I was very sad to leave and could not recommend them more !!
