"For 5 star hotel, the service was poor. When we arrived at the lobby, there was no staff to greet us and help us unload our luggage. When we check in, the receptionist did not explain to us anything about hotel facilities and the other thing. She didn't even tell us what the direction to our room. Because this is a brand new hotel and this is our first time to stay here, we don't know which way to go. The other thing is what the hotel call chocolate hours. On their promotion the time is 4pm - 5pm. But when we go to the lobby at 4.30 there was nothing. When we asked the staff they said the time for chocolate hour is 3pm - 4pm which is different from what we saw on their social media. Then when we go to the pool to enjoy sunset and playing in the pool, there are so many adult smooking around the pool. This is so annoying."

"Overall it was a great stay at Villa Marina. The best thing is that there are 2 swimming pool locations, near the entrance and near the sea. For the location near the sea, the children's pool is not well maintained, but for the location near the entrance it is good. Complete amenities, only the bathroom lights tend to flicker which needs to be replaced. For cleanliness, it is quite good, but in some places there are falling off the ceiling. Maybe the cupboard and mattress can be rejuvenated to increase comfort. The front view of the pier and the sea is good. But the sand area needs to be maintained because there is a lot of garbage."
