School house The stay was stress free with the free parking. The Hosts made us feel very welcome and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

A great find. Perfect location. Stayed at the b and b for 1 night (work trip). Accommodation is perfect. Has everything in the room you need. We had the bedroom overlooking the church. A very pretty room. Plenty of parking. Recommended a great local pub for dinner. The Duck - fantastic food. Provided us with an early breakfast which was really appreciated. Breakfast was in the old classroom. Beautiful room. We will definitely book to stay here again if we are back in the area.

Stayed for the one night. Lovely place, excetionally clean and beautiful breakfast. It's a shame there's not a pub in the village in walking distance, but plenty to choose from not too far away 3-4 minutes in the car. Will certainly have no hesitation staying here again when in the area.

We enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of Nikki and Jim. They live on property and are accessible to assist with anything we needed. The bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a wonderful shower with soft towels. The surrounding area to The School House is picturesque and calming. We would definitely return to Woolavington.

Nicky and Jim are top quality proprietor and consequently a stay here either for a night, in our case, breaking the journey from Cornwall to Chester or perhaps for longer if exploring the area, will be well worth while. Peaceful, clean and a super breakfast. Why stay in a soulless branded hotel when you can stay at the Old School house??

My son & i recieved the warmest welcome from nicky the proprietor of this beautiful home. Our room was lovely fresh clean, beautifully laundered bedding. Shower was fabulous, we had a wonderful peaceful sleep & in the morning we met the other proprietor Jim at breakfast who was very warm & friendly & breakfast was tasty. Our family have recently moved to a locality close by so we need a regular safe & homely place to stay during our visits. we did have our previous stay at the pig & whistle b&b not far away which was a grave mistake. Thankfully we have now found a beautiful sanctuary to which we will be frequent visitors.

Refurbished school house. Excellent decor and beautiful accommodation. Friendly, welcoming, quiet, tranquil, restful. Ample sized rooms with well fitted out en suite bathroom. Fabulous large bed. Definitely recommended.

Nicky and Jim were quite the best hosts on our one night stay at the exceptionally delightful School House. Perfect location for our needs. Our room was beautifully clean and fresh and the bed superbly comfy. As for the piping hot delicious breakfast we couldn't fault it. Home made jam too. Everywhere you looked in the converted school were lovely objects beautiful wallpapers and charming details.
