Green View Lodges

Fantastic stay at Green View Lodges. Loved every minute and have already recommended to friends. The hot tub both in the leisure suite and the hayloft accommodation was lovely. You need to prebook the leisure suite one. The owners are lovely, friendly people and the site is lovely. The animals are great and the kids loved petting the donkeys. Decorated for Christmas too. The Oddfellows Arms around 4 mile away is good for food, decent menu and friendly staff. Carlisle castle fantastic for a day out. We will be back in the summer as it was too drizzly out to use the fire pits! Such is the Cumbrian weather!

Hidden Gem Enjoyed a few days at Greenview. Warm welcome complimentary local milk and freshly baked cake. Lodge spotless. Enjoyed freshly laid free range eggs at breakfast. There are donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens. Pet friendly and on site spa, with hot tube and sauna. A hidden gem, on our visit to the lakes.

Amazing find - idyllic setting We had a fabulous time. Emily was so helpful - what a warm welcome we got on arrival, with some lovely touches of country life. Free range farm eggs available on request - they were delicious and a must! Lodge was very clean and fresh. It was an idyllic setting to relax and also had lots of things to do with a short car drive away. The hot tub and sauna were amazing too. Lots of animals and wildlife to enjoy too - being out in the countryside was good for our souls. Highly recommend a visit.

We had the most relaxing weekend away at Green view Lodges. Clean, cosy, spacious and had everything you would need for an excellent home away from home stay. The lodge was warmed up prior to our arrival and we had some lovely homemade cake to enjoy from the owners. The owners were super friendly and attentive with nothing being too much trouble. The Hot tub/ sauna was an excellent addition to our stay and we are able to use this multiple times. We also had a lovely view of some goats, donkeys and sheep which you could pet! 10/10 experience and we will definitely be returning.

What an Amazing trip !!! We arrived a little later then planned due to traffic but check in was hassle free and easy The Hosts were great and responsive answering any queries and accommodating where possible… the lodge was lovely, homely and clean with comfy beds and a cot as requested. Homemade cake made with fresh eggs from their chickens was delicious and milk was also available in the fridge for us. The lodge was well equipped with all necessities and internet, you tube, Netflix etc on Tv was great for the kids ! The animals on the field were amazing,relaxing and entertaining at times too. The donkeys would walk up to you and we got a few nice selfies too lol The hot tub and sauna was easily booked and a few footsteps away from the lodge, booking it was easy and simple and it was then private for us to enjoy with our family. We would have liked it a bit more if there was more to do with the kids around there but either way we all loved it would definitely return to enjoy it all again.
