"Very clean hotel. It was a memorable stay during the solar eclipse. Not far from the beach. The hotel was  a bit far from the main lakes, but still reachable. The food was lush, especially dinner, variety of choices from the menu. Added bonus, it’s dog friendly. Could do with a fan in the room tho."

"This place is for workies wanting a cheap night whilst on a job. Do not book it. The tv didnt work, the kettle didnt work, our clothes were damp in the morning. The decor is horrendous and there is NOBODY around. You get an email with a number to call for a code... hopefully... we unfortunately did not get an email so we had to ask a lovely Italian guy in the same predicament to see his emails and found a contact number (he had booked through a different company) The pub over the road 'The lion and the lamb' is gorgeous. The food and staff are amazing and we camped in there until closing time after our walks. Please only book this place if you have a plastering job nearby!"

"Matkustin poikani kanssa ja jäimme yläkerrassa yhdeksi yöksi. Meillä oli ihana oleskelu. Näkemykset olivat täysin kauniita, ja henkilöstö oli erittäin ammattimainen, tervetullut ja ystävällinen. Aamiainen oli mukava ja viehättävä, ja aamiainen itse oli herkullinen. Rakastimme erityisesti kaunis näköala ikkunastamme ja ystävälliset alpakat lähellä poikani todella nautti syöttöä aamulla. Olin mukava pysäköinti, sänky oli hyvin mukava, ja kaikki olomme oli kaunis. Kiitos paljon vieraanvaraisuudesta. Me todella nautimme aikaa täällä ja olisimme erittäin iloisia palata."

"Pissaa täällä syömään ja juomaan, kun olin vieressä kävely järvillä viikonloppuna. Kauniit valinnot juomia ja ruokaa. Tilasin pizzaa, joka oli erittäin maukasta ja hyvää arvoa. Kaunis olut puutarha ulkona. Maa pubi ilmapiiri, jossa on hyvä sijainti."

"Angela ja Paul olivat lähteneet pois tieltä majoittautua meille aamiaisajassa. Aamiainen oli todella hyvä! He ovat kaunis pari, joka tarjosi joitakin todella hyödyllisiä tietoja paikkoja syötävä ja paikallisia tietoja. Cumbrian Lodge on erinomainen arvo rahalle, joka on kaikkien tarjottujen tilojen kanssa."

"Booked an evening meal for Good Friday. Arrived to find hardly anyone in the pub, they told us they had been extremely busy but now was a lull. Warmly welcomed and ordered our food, Memphis chicken, pie,chips and peas and sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake. The food was superb, very tasty and good portions. As we were eating the pub was starting to get busy again with the residents returning from their ventures. A very enjoyable meal with friendly staff."
