Melrose @ Seabrook, BW Signature Collection by Best Western

Review Only true negative is no window coverings less a misfit blackout shade.2-3” gap on sides. Not a smart tv, so be aware if you’re planning movie time. Clean, and even sofa bed was comfy.

Now this review is for Best Western Melrose at Seabrook,BW not the Comfort Inn. Many of the reviews for this location are from when the hotel was owned by another management company, who previously owned the property. Look at current reviews from the last few months. The new owner has presently remodeled and prides themselves with good service and a good cleaning staff. In many reviews of the property, the pictures are old from the previous owners and is now with Best Western and has been remodeled extensively. It is no longer a Comfort Inn. It has changed names also. The staff is very nice, accommodating too. The rooms are large and clean. I can't say it enough, very clean and new furniture and flooring etc. Someone said there was no fan in the bathroom, that is incorrect. It has a vent and is always on but you can't hear it. There is no switch for it. The shower was really nice and felt wonderful actually. I had to get extra towels and that was no problem. The AC works well. Breakfast was ok but I am vegan so there is that. They have fruit and a few other food items I could eat. Now for my husband, they have an egg omelet bar on weekends and you get to pick what you want. They had bagels and muffins and I liked the chocolate and hoped it was vegan but not sure. The hallways were clean and the outside also. Loved the bed and it was a king. We stayed for 4 nites. I loved the Mediterranean Cafe and a Mexican Restaurant across the street. That was so convenient. We also went to one of the bars up where the water is. They had good fry's. NASA was close by as was the Boardwalk and so was League City. I would for sure stay again. The owner was one of the nicest management personnel I have ever met and I am not related nor work for him or the company of BW. Just a tourist. I made the reservation with Sam on the phone. He was very helpful and nice also. Oh I didn't see one single bug, not one. Yay--

Awesome Stay! Amazing place to stay! The manager Obe is awesome. And the staff Nick, Sam at front desk great customer service very friendly and helpful. House keeping and kictjen staff awesome as well. Near kemah board walk.Hotel is very clean and comfortable!!!

Elevator never worked. Clogged sink. Uncomfortable, cheap beds. Seemed like new ownership so it may improve

This is our go to hotel, almost like a loyalty thing. Only complaint if they took out all refrigerators and microwaves without bringing down the price.
