Borgo Hedone

Great stay in Scicli I rarely leave reviews, only when really bad or really good, in this case it’s the later, an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning location and views. Ivan took wonderful care of us and seems to have thought of everything to make stays enjoyable. Scicli itself is a great base, full of very good restaurants and bars, close enough to both the towns of Regusa, Modica etc but also beautiful beaches at Donalucatta and Punta Secco

We spent 5 nights here in an appartment with the bedroom upstairs (more about stairs later) and a nice little balcony with a great view over Scicli. Staying in this place is a very very special experience. Just stepping out the door of your appartment is sensational. It feels/is just so genuine. Absolutely unique. OK, the stairs: there is quite a few to climb to get to your appartment. You need to know this. Personally I (65) loved it every time. Borgo Hedone has an indoor pool (outdoor pool currently out of operation), which is very nice, and also a great garden with huge palm trees. Our appartment had everything it needed. Alessia was a very caring host. If you have a car, you can always park close, next to San Bartolomeo church. Plenty of bars/restaurants (Baqqalà!) in walking distance and a decent little supermarket as well. Prefer to swim in the sea? Lido Spinasanta is a 20 minutes drive. Nice. Our idea: of course go visit the more famous destinations like Ragusa and Noto, but stay in Scicli. Just right. Just like staying in Borgo Hedone.

Personale professionale straordinariamente gentile e pronto a fare di tutto per farti sentire a casa : da Danilo sempre disponibile ad esaudire qualsiasi richiesta, Agostina pronta a dare informazioni e "dritte" su cosa visitare, le signore addette al riordino delle camere camere discrete e precise, la colazione preparata da Stefania e la sua assistente. Il borgo offre l'opportunità di trovare una preziosa vibe di tranquillità e relax. Il panorama é mozzafiato sia di giorno che di sera!

Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. Ho organizzato un weekend di coppia in una camera che sembrava un mini appartamento ed ho trovato il tutto molto accogliente. Il luogo è magico ed a due passi dal centro. Le camere sono arredate raffinatamente e staff accogliente

Hotel davvero particolare poiché occupa un borgo di Scicli situato nella montagna,ma a due passi dal centro. Presenta delle camere con la pietra caratterista del luogo, mobili d'epoca restaurati e ambienti curati nei minimi dettagli. Davvero affascinante la vista su Scicli che si può godere anche dalla piscina esterna. La struttura una piscina interna con acqua calda per poter fare il bagno anche quando il clima non lo permette. Caratteristica è la grotta con un divano letto dove potersi rilassare mantenendo la privacy ed il contatto con la natura.

We finished our week in Sicily at Borgo Hedone Scicli and this was an excellent stay. We had the junior suite and had a great space with a comfortable bed, a great sitting space outside with a wonderful view and a really good bathroom facility. Before booking, consider the amount of steps you may need to take (Wasnt a problem for us but can see it being for some) Check in, you out greet my tuk tuk to take yourself and the luggage to the hotel. I did however book this stay with the intension of using the outdoor pool which was show on the previous reviews. Not sure if its the time of year, but this was not available. Breakfast was okay, ok spread of continental cheese / meats, croissants, and some hot food including bacon and scrabbled eggs. I would recommend this stay.
