Das Alpin - Hotel Garni Guesthouse

What a fabulous hotel - staff are Welcoming and friendly. Rooms fine. Food is amazing! You find find something for even the most fussy of eaters, the AI beer and wine is great as are the soft drinks. Perfect location for the slopes - we skied down the blue run most mornings to the lift and got the free ski bus back to the hotel in the evening. Ski hire shop staff brilliant and really friendly, boot room great. Highly recommend this lovely hotel and will be returning next December with friends - thanks hotel alpin for a wonderful holiday.

We have just returned from a week at the Alpin and had a great stay. The restaurant is buffet style with a good and varied selection of evening meal every day. Breakfast is a choice of fruit, meats, cheeses, cereals, eggs and bacon. Lunch is a choice of pasta, soup, salad and various meat dishes. Swimming pool is small but ok, sauna is available but we did not use. We had room 404, on the 3rd floor, a great room with a nice view from the balcony, plenty of space for 2. Rooms at the front of the hotel seem to be better as they get more light. Daniela, Laura and Sascha on reception are all very helpful. Waiters and waitresses very cheerful and always attentive. Special thanks to Jenny, Jacky, Theresa, and Zsolt for their great service. Also thanks to all the team for making our 30th wedding anniversary special. The hotel location is great for walkers with the KaiserJet bus stopping just up the road for trips to Going, Ellmau and Soll. The Tourist office is opposite. Hotel reception will give you a guest card for discounts and can sell you a pass for the 10 gondolas in the area. Walking in the area is very nice with well marked trails, and great views. There is a free internet access point in reception great for checking mail if you dont have lap top with you. We really enjoyed our stay here and will hopefully be back.

Super freundliches und cooles Personal. Schönes Hotel und super leckeres Essen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Schönes großes Zimmerer mit viel Platz. Das war sicher nicht der letzte Aufenthalt. Super schönes Skigebiet, auch für Anfänger zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einen super schönen Urlaub.

From start to finish I can only compliment the hotel and its staff. We have one night left here as part of our ski break and have throughly enjoyed the experience. Everything from food to the room and the courteous and friendly nature of the staff. It has all been exemplary. We would be happy to return when we revisit the skiwelt area.

Very good hotel and a good value. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was large and clean in a minimalist European way as was the bathroom. The food was good for dinner and breakfast. Across the street is a church with an interesting grave yard and the views of the mountains are spectacular. Highly recommended.

It was only when we arrived at the hotel and were checked in that we were told that in addition to breakfast, 'complementary snacks and drinks' were available between 4pm and 7pm in the dining room, which my wife and I thought was a nice, if unexpected bonus. When we arrived for 'snacks' on the first evening, we were blown away to find a fully stocked salad buffet, a hot meal and excellent pastries for dessert. As soon as we sat down, the attentive staff were on hand to take orders for drinks - beer, wine or soft drinks etc. Initially we thought we'd eat at Das Alpin on a couple of evenings and go out to eat the rest of the week. But the food was so good, the staff so friendly and the ambience so good that we ate there every evening. The breakfast buffet was equally good, the room comfortable and the location for exploring the Tyrol was perfect. With all this at what I would call a very reasonable B&B only price means the hotel has to be recommended.
