Reviews were excellent but stay still exceeded exp

Great place with excellent staff and the food and rooms were excellent and worth 5 stars. We are a couple 59 and 64 years old we will be recommending this to family and friends and will be returning.

Very nice b&b lovely staff very good breakfast bedroom was very spacious but up three flights of stairs every toiletry you could ever need provided lovely and clean. Big shout out to Rebecca wonderful host.

I received a message the night before my arrival from Rebecca & James confirming my time of arrival and if I needed to change anything prior to arriving to not hesitate in getting back in touch, which I thought was a nice gesture. We went for one night in the Superior double (room 4) which was very spacious, clean and had a home from home feel to it. The bed was really comfortable and had a decent nights sleep. Tea and coffee tray within your room with Nescafé and Yorkshire Tea. Selection of biscuits on arrival too. It was a nice extra touch with the Caramel bars. Parking wasn’t an issue as there is plenty of space on the street and is free for your stay, as James or Rebecca will give you a permit for your stay. Don’t miss out on the breakfast as the full English was really nice and the selection of homemade conserves which Rebecca’s mother makes were delicious. Location is ideal as it only takes about 5-10 minutes walk to get to the seafront. If I come back to Scarborough The Cordelia would be the first place I would look at staying again. James & Rebecca were brilliant hosts, thank you for a great stay!

Massive thank you to Rebecca & James wonderful hosts nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond our expectations, lovely large rooms with nice comfy beds and a lovely modern bathroom,the food is absolutely fantastic so a massive thumbs up all round we would not hesitate to book again. My mum and aunt had a wonderful break at The Cordelia. Can't thank James and Rebecca enough for their hospitality during their stay and for assisting them with the local area, especially suited for the older lady! Lovely large and clean bedrooms and ensuite, with communal areas for relaxing and breakfast which they thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend. Thank you again 👍
