The Crescent Hotel

We were in Scarborough on Saturday for a classical music concert in the town and we chose the Crescent Hotel as it is well situated for the town and also the beach. Welcoming staff, comfortable well appointed rooms and an excellent breakfast in the morning. As a bonus the hotel has live music in the Crescent Lounge on Saturday evenings too. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The Crescent is an excellent place to stay. I would recommend the superior room. The staff are very friendly and food is lovely.we have now stayed on a number of occasions and cannot fault it. There is downstairs pub called reflections with a wide choice of drinks

We have never stayed at this hotel before but decided to give it a go for a short 2 night stay in between Christmas and New Year and we were not disappointed. We arrived early and was greeted by a lovely Receptionist who informed us that our room was ready which was great. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and all the staff were so friendly and a credit to the hotel. Our room number 15 was lovely and had everything we need. We ate in the restaurant and the 3 course meal was superb as was the lovely breakfast, so much choice and nothing was toom much trouble. You can get a parking permit from Reception for £6 daily which is great and we did not have much trouble finding a spot around the crescent to leave our vehicle. The hotel is dog friendly which did not bother us and there were so lovely dogs there during our stay and I must say well behaved and we never heard them at all. We will stay here again but book direct as opposed to ***********. Well done to all the staff from the cleaners to the lovely guy in the restaurant and especially the Reception staff you are amazing thank you.

Nice, friendly hotel in good location We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. It looked out on a main road with several bars but the noise, even on a Friday night, was minimal. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good. A very nice stay and we would definitely return, but perhaps would ask for a room overlooking The Crescent.

Shame about the cricket Hotel was comfortable, food was excellent and staff were both friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient - near the centre of town and the railway station. I would certainly stay there again

Fantastic hotel and well run. Staff were really helpful and always went the extra mile. Hotel is great and only a few minor gripes which would make my rating a 9 rather than 10. Bathroom door snagged on the floor and breakfast room needs soft furnishings as very noisy. On the whole, would and will revisit.
