The Crescent Hotel

once again another excellent break,brilliant food, fabulous staff can't do enough for you. warm homely and spotless. In the centre of Scarborough, close to all amenities Entertainment most nights in the down stairs crescenr bar will see you again.

If you want to be pampered we recommend you spend a few days at this hotel. It would be unfair to pick out any one of the staff as being exceptional. They were all very helpful, friendly & available to assist. Having mobility problems & discovering steps up to reception no problems - 2 staff immediately came down to help us .Nothing too much trouble! Our room (The Belvoir Room) was - well very roomy. Settee & armchair one side of the comfortable bed & 2 further chairs next to glass doors opening out on o small balcony overlooking a park.. Well stocked hospitality tray. Good sized bathroom with bath & separate shower.. There was a public bar downstairs & a smaller residents bar next to the reception ( open all hours!) Good selection of wines & beers at reasonable prices. Fair number of bar snacks available, but not until 5 pm. Breakfasts had a good choice of cold starters & hot meals were cooked to order. Lovely local fresh produce too. Didn't try the evening meals but there seemed to plenty of choice there too. The hotel is close to the railway station, shops, theatres & local attractions. Lovely Hotel Lovely hotel with good old fashioned service. Large, comfortable room, with a super king sized bed. Lovely staff who looked after us. The decor was a little tired, but overall good and would come back and recommend. Great location, very handy for the train station, theatre and sea front.

Booked in for the Valentine’s weekend event. * Excellent service * Friendly staff * Amazing Valentine’s banquet * High quality breakfast * Spacious clean rooms * Adequate parking * Located conveniently close to both the town centre, and the sea front This was our 4th visit, and we’ve never been disappointed. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

The Crescent is an excellent place to stay. I would recommend the superior room. The staff are very friendly and food is lovely.we have now stayed on a number of occasions and cannot fault it. There is downstairs pub called reflections with a wide choice of drinks

Christmas Dinner 2024. From the minute we walked through the front door, we knew we had made a fantastic choice. The greeting was so lovely, felt at home straight away. The dinner itself was truly amazing, all courses we full of flavour and so lovingly presented. Service was amazing, running like clockwork he whole way through. Staff were all fantastic and couldn't do enough. The nice touch was the end of the dinner ,when you could retreat to the lounge for coffee and cakes. TOP MARKS!! All being well we will be back next year. Thanks to everyone!
