Mansion House

Great 3 night stay in the Mahogany apartment. Cath and Mark were incredibly helpful and friendly as usual. Breakfast downstairs was delicious as usual. This apartment is great for entertaining and we were able to have family members over for fish and chips. We have now been visiting Mansion House for over 20 years and will continue to do so whenever we visit Scarborough. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, great breakfast, easy to park.

Really good B&B. A few minutes walk to the Spa. Town a little further, but an easy stroll overall. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast food hot and tasty. Everywhere cleaned to a very high standard.

Another lovely stay at Mansion House. After years of trying to find good accommodation in Scarborough, we're so glad that we found this charming place a few years ago. This was our 4th stay and it goes from strength to strength. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the linens and soft furnishings are top notch and the atmosphere is comfy. The ownership obviously takes great pride in their business and it shows. We have stayed at many other places in Scarborough including The Crown Hotel which is consistently named the top hotel in town but believe us, THE MANSION HOUSE IS THE BEST ACCOMMODATION IN SCARBOROUGH.

We had to travel to the UK from france for a funeral, the hotel we had stayed in before was closed but they recommended Mansion House WOW!!!! from the minute we arrived until we left we felt as if we had walked into a top London hotel….we were warmly greeted by the owner who helped us with our luggage and settled us into out room which was lovely and warm and comfortable…. after a comfortable nights sleep we went down for breakfast Wow again so much selection and the cooked breakfast was absolutely amazing…..they kindly arranged for our bedroom to be cleaned etc while we had breakfast so that we had time to get changed to attend the funeral so very thoughtful. I made the chef laugh on the second morning by saying sorry chef it’s 11 out of 10 for breakfast again. We had 3 nights there and everything was spotlessly clean we just couldn’t find fault with anything…… sadly we now have no family in Scarborough to visit but we will most certainly recommended Mansion House to our friends and family….If we do ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay there again…….thank you Jonathon,Helen, Mark and Sylvia plus the cleaner of our room and the breakfast staff for a truly wonderful stay at a sad time for us. Gem of a find One night stay. What a gem of a find, comfortable, great views, great breakfast, great staff, all in all great place and we highly recommend.
