The Grand Scarborough

Hotel is perfectly located with a great view to the sea. It does need some updating, and is in the process of some rooms being decorated- we stayed in a freshly painted room. However, attention to detail isn't great, paint over door hinges so very loud squeaking and few other bits which has been overlooked. Staff were very helpful and friendly regarding where to park. Entertainment was good with singers. Breakfast sadly wasn't good - ended up at the brewers fayre down the road. Overall tho it's a lovely building with great staff and entertainment.

The toilet filling with water was making sound all night long a faulty toilet we were told rooms very cold

U could hear noises as the floors were cracking, the wall was broken, it has holes, not up to standard. There is always water noises coming from bathroom even if u were not using it, the design of the room was not very good. U could hear ppl’s noise, when they were using water etc, no shampoos and no conditioner, no body wash, the handle of the water is broken, disappointed! Don’t get fooled by its outside looks, it’s not even up to normal standards！ and they won’t refund my breakfast even I already inform that I did not have time to eat it as they misinformed me on the website about the breakfast time! Disappointed!

Lovely clean room with sea view. Sleep quality was good!!!!

Great service off the staff at reception and room was great but the housekeeper coming into our room b4 we even left without knocking was a disgrace

Only issue was luke warm water when needed a bath and a shower which was disappointing
