What a great find, such a lovely place to stay . The hotel is very clean and welcoming. Our room was really nice, lovely comfy bed and quiet too. The breakfasts are really good, probably the best we have had in any hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely recommend and we will return as it was so nice.

Booked 2 rooms on the the same day we was travelling. On arrival was greeted and taken to our rooms. Big spacious room,and very clean. Great value for money,and will definitely stay again next time we are in Scarborough. Great location close to centre,and beach.

Visited for breakfast and it was superb. There was 7 of us and we all chose something different and thoroughly enjoyed what we'd ordered. The complimentary porridge brulee was excellent. Fabulous and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We had room 3 which was quite large as was the bathroom. The shower was over the bath so quite handy for us both. A bit noisy due to the road but ear plugs were provided. Tea/coffee was provided and replenished daily. Due to the high turnover of guests the room was tidied every day and if we asked for anything it was provided straight away. The building is old and needs some attention but nothing too major. Breakfast was Wednesday to Sunday but as we didn’t have breakfast there I cannot comment on it. We only used the bar once as I only saw it open a couple of times and it closed around 9pm.The only downside for me was the lack of evening meal. There is nothing much around the hotel where you can get food ( except for takeaways and chippies)The location is good if you don’t drive as the bus service is quite good.The staff were lovely and friendly as was the owner and all in all we had a nice time at the Chapel house Hotel.

Visited for breakfast today. Fantastic service and a perfect breakfast menu. Catered for all our vatious tastes. Loved the free refills on the tea and coffees. Thank you to you all your team for making us so welcome.

Booked a short break, three nights, for my partner and myself. Having looked at a variety of accommodations in Scarborough across several booking sites I happened on The Chapel House. It did not disappoint in any way. We stayed in the suite. Spacious, clean and a most comfortable four poster king-size bed. So comfortable my partner wanted to take it home! We had breakfast on all three mornings whereby we worked our way through the porridge (wow!), black pudding stacks and Dutch pancakes. All were first class and extremely reasonably priced, considering they included fresh juices, teas and coffees with free refills. We found the two members of staff we met during our stay to be friendly and welcoming. As for the owners, Mica and Andy (also the chef), we can only give the highest praise. They made us so welcome. It was a real pleasure to stay at The Chapel House. A 5 out of 5? No, a definite 6! Thoroughly recommended.

Wasn’t expecting much when we booked and also when we arrived, however, we were in one of the large rooms located on the top floor and it was excellent. Couple of minor things I could have marked it down but overall brilliant. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast the first and last day and wow what a surprise, different and top quality. Will definitely visit again.

What an amazing experience. This was an absolutely faultless hotel. Pure luxury and it’s just those little things you know. Customer service was so, so friendly and the sheer comfort of our stay was wow, just wow! Let’s talk food! Oh my gosh! I grade a place if somewhere can cook as good as I,(and I’m a great cook) or places that can do better. Wow, just let yourself explore, the amazing food it has to offer. Such great value for money - such a refreshing change ladies and gent. Personally, we took a scooter and a motorbike and they were so accommodating. Helping so much, to accommodate so we could place out motors in safe surroundings! I really can’t rave enough about this place, pure quality provided by wonderful Yorkshire people! Well done all the hard workers at Chapel house, you have truly nailed it! See you soon, very soon if, I have my way!
