Novello Cottage
Fantastic accommodation, really high end fixtures and fittings. We did hear people coming out of the pub next door between 11:30pm and 12:00am, but didn’t affect our stay. Would defo come again

Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food.
Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them.
Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, but noisy pub at the back
The property was lovely and clean, really homely. We would have loved to stay here again it was that lovely. Towels, robes, tea, coffee and milk all provided.
How ever, this property backs on to a pub, which wasnt very clear in the booking page.We are a family of 4 with 2 young children, we weren't told there would be music blasting until 12.30 and then had to lusten to the rigmarole of drunk people getting home.not ideal after a 3 hour drive there, and with a 3 hour drive home the next day. The children couldnt get to sleep and were upset about the noise levels, we couldnt hear the tv!
If you prefer a shower over a bath, i hope the site rectifies this issue as there was no hot water and the water trickled out of the shower.
Real shame as this looked amazing! And for the issues we faced we can't justify the cost with having that level of noise at the back of the property.

Beautiful cottage
We didn’t know what to expect. Booked quite late based on location & didn’t look into the accommodation much.
When we arrived it was a very pleasant surprise how nice the cottage was inside & out. It Even had an Xmas tree decorated which was a nice touch.
The associated pubs looked very nice & it was a shame we couldn’t visit them.
The only disappointing thing was the communication. I messaged them in advance to try and sort an earlier check in so we could try get our daughter settled before evening plans & also enquired about a child cot but we received no reply.
Overall though we would most likely stay here again if we visit the area.

Highly reccomend
We stayed in the palledium cottage as it was the only cottage with a hot tub.
The cottage was clean, however they was several cobwebs on the headboards and dust. Apart from this it was very clean all round.
When reading what was included in the booking it states that dressing gowns are provided and all beds are kingsize!... However 2 of the beds were double and the other 2 were signle beds put together. We slept in the beige room upstairs and found the bed to be extremely uncomfortable, very hard and the pillows to soft! ( this is a personal preference ).
The cottage was in an ideal location not to far from local attractions and the food at the copper horse was lovely.
I would deffinatly reccomend this cottage and would love to return with my family, however the beds are the only downside that would stop us from returning.
